Hi Ladies, I've seen cocoapproved a lot of times here and chatted with tim that seems lovely.
Question: I live in Europe and are afraid of import taxes if I buy a bag from him (its going to be 1700euro only for taxes plus the bag price.. not worth it) Does anyone who shopped from him had to pay taxes? Or did he declare the value as low? Thanks!!

Hi there - I purchsed an LV bag from her @shop_thelux - I too was a bit nervous because of the transfer only but Tugce was super communicative and we even chatted via what’s app too. She was fully transparent and sent pictures of everything along the way. I took the risk and send funds via transferwise and received my bag within five days it was sent express after she received the funds she even sent me a video of her taking it to dhl. It came with its original receipt and I had it authenticated with RealAuthentication and Authenticate4U - both said it was authentic. Hope this helps!

Didn’t have to pay taxes or customs. Brought from him twice and no issues. First time was sent bag it came straight from HK no tax or customs to pay. Second time he shipped to his office or contact here in the UK then it was sent on to me (Within the UK). I was worried about the shipping both times but it got to me no problems!

I have purchased from her before. Trusted seller and great pricing but sometimes it takes longer than expected to get the item. gotta be patient but she is really kind and nice.

For those who have been buying Chanel for a long time (I only bought beauty and shoes prior to my first bag this past December) — do you feel like the IG sellers are taking up a lot of inventory for regular customers?

I was trying to get some items through SAs I have connected with and no luck as I’m not a VIP and what i liked was already preordered or reserved. But personal shoppers and resellers are able to secure 20+ rose Clair classic flaps! For those of you who follow Maria Draganova, she mentioned earlier this week she couldn’t get a certain bag (even as a regular returning customer) and it made me wonder how do the IG sellers and personal shoppers do it?

omg I been thinking about this too! I messaged at least 10-15 SAs about the gold mini and everything is gone or the list is long but I see all these IG sellers getting their hands on at least 4-5 of them. I have no idea how and it's upsetting to see them secure so many. We don’t even get a chance at all. Whats sad is I never get a list of upcoming items to reserve so I’m always late to the game

Hi all! I know there’s been some negative reviews of luxurytholic’s communication, but other than that, are they legit and trustworthy? Also, does anyone know how much custom duties are to the US now? I thought it was around 10% but also saw someone post that they were charged 20% for a Hermès wallet! Thanks in advance! :smile:

I had one dealing with luxurytholic and it wasn’t a good one. I bought what they claim to be a brand new bag but it came with color transfers and reek of odor. If you decided to purchase something from them make sure you ask and review all pics.
