You know what, I noticed with a purchase I made to FP and later sold back to FP was reposted with the same pics. Im not sure if the description was left the same or updated. I don't know if that is always the case but that happened to one of my purchases a year ago or so that I sold back to them. I try to follow what I sell to see how much they list it for and noticed the pics were the same. Maybe the bag you bought again was recently sold back and that owner added more wear to it? Regardless the pics and description should be uodated.I agree. Sadly, sometimes I feel that FP leaves out things in hopes the buyer would look the other way because their "want" will blind them. Hence the predicament I am in right now. lol I went through the pics provided. Nowhere did the description nor the pics show a split seam. In my case, it was more of a tear made from what appears to be the previous owner pulling on the flap causing the stitch to come out and then continuing to pull on it resulting in the tear vs using the snap. I'm sorry for my rant. I needed to talk it out with like minded people.![]()
I haven't heard but they recently just had a 10% off sale on certain items when I made a purchase on Aug 13. That would be nice if they have another one.Anyone know if FP will offer a Labor Day sale for us in the US?
I totally agree with that. I definitely think they recycle their descriptions. About a year ago, I purchased an item, in the pics provided, it showed a line right down the middle of it. I thought it was crease, maybe even a pen mark. Something I could "live with". However, it turned out to be a huge cut, like a utility knife cut. I was shocked that FP did not disclose it.You know what, I noticed with a purchase I made to FP and later sold back to FP was reposted with the same pics. My FP personal shopper told me that there will be a spend and earn sale coming this weekend. So let’s see what happens.Anyone know if FP will offer a Labor Day sale for us in the US?

Here are the details. It’s really similar to TRR’s make a purchase & earn site credit promos. It makes sense for the site, you need to make a second purchase in order to use the site credit, and buyers may be “looking” for something to purchase that they wouldn’t buy otherwise. Note that to redeem the site credit, a buyer needs to spend the same amount again for the second purchase. My FP personal shopper told me that there will be a spend and earn sale coming this weekend. Thanks for describing this 😊good for store but definitely not for bag addicts like us lol bought a mini rectangular for 5k plus so don’t want to spend again within 3 months 🤷♀️ they should offer some sort of discount like spend $5000 earn 500😬Here are the details. Too complicated for me, I never bought with this type of promotionHere are the details. It’s really similar to TRR’s make a purchase & earn site credit promos. Oh wow. Yes a cut is not minor. That should have been noted in the description and even have a pic showing it is actually a cut vs a pen mark or crease. It's a bit deceiving. For the most part, for me, their pics and descriptions are pretty accurate. I buy often but probably not as much as others. One thing I do (about 90% off the time) is get a personal shopper to send me more pics AND verbally go over the item with me. That way what may have been missed will not be missed (hopefully) by the personal shopper .I totally agree with that. I definitely think they recycle their descriptions. I like to keep an eye out for its "return." That turned me off for a year+.
Yes, they should definitely update all changes. This tear, I noticed right away. It was not noticeable at all on any of the pics. Thank you Debbie65, I appreciate your reply.
Ooo, I never thought to do that. I will def keep that in mind. Thanks for the tip. I think I have decided to keep the bag. The tear near the flap is fixable. I'm not sure I will be able to see/find this bag again. The tear was of course a turn off but I did the pros and con list. Thank you Debbie65Oh wow. Yes a cut is not minor. You're right. I am going to send them an email. The bag with the (utility) cut is a different bag from 2023. This bag with the tear is my recent purchase. I have until tomorrow to initiate the return. gahhhSure no problem.Since what you thought was a crease or pin mark along with FP not revealing that in their description at all, try reaching out to them that it was missing in the description and in the photos. See if they will give you a discount for the missed info. I don't know how willing they will be, but it won't hurt to ask.
If you already cut off the tag, don't mention that you did, as then there is no threat of you returning the bag as a unsatisfied customer. Lol. Im sure they want you to keep the bag vs return it. They don't need to know you were keeping it regardless. Lol. I would be upset receiving a bag with a cut not knowing that is what I paid for.
How does the tear look like? You're right. I am going to send them an email. The bag with the (utility) cut is a different bag from 2023. This bag with the tear is my recent purchase. I have until tomorrow to initiate the return. gahhh
