I have shopped (and sold) with Fashionphile for a few years and have always been pleased with their service. I do get face to face service many times as I'm local so a relationship has developed over the few years I have done business with them. I understand people's concerns dealing with shipping, that's why I go directly to Fashionphile in Carlsbad to pick up an item I purchased online if it is already stored in their Carlsbad boutique. If it is at the New York location I get it shopped to Neimans in FashionValley. When I go to Neimans to pick up my item I actually open the box in from of a Nemians' worker JUST in case it is a wrong item, the item is damaged etc. I know many people are not near either place, but if you are, just for peace of mind, you can do either one of the options I mentioned. Keep in mind FP does NOT have the generous 30 day return policy. It is now 15 days from the time the item is shipped to you. I do feel FP will work with you if there ever is an issue and doing a video of your unboxing isn't a bad idea if you aren't able to pick up your items in person at Neimans or Fashionphile.

i received my bag this afternoon and I must say I am very pleased overall With my very first Fashionphile purchase. i placed the order on Sunday, so pleasantly surprised at the fast shipping (considering a previous poster’s concern). The bag itself is in perfect condition, in fact I’d say it is in better condition than described (listed as “excellent“ with some minor scratches, but to me, it looks flawless and in fact, plastic protective coverings are intact). The $1K premium stings a bit so I don’t think I will make a habit of buying, but I am definitely happy. Thank you to @whatevs @Moxisox and @xofashionxo for the advice, which encouraged me to take the plunge!
Oh cool! How exciting! If you don't mind, can you share what you purchased! I would love to join in on your excitement! :)

Good idea. It says:
Purchased 5/13
Shipped 5/16
Expected delivery 5/29
Return by 5/31
I'm not sure if that means to file for a return by 5/31 or that they need it back by 5/31. It's a quite expensive HG piece, so it won't be an issue unless it is damaged, and in that case I'm sure that I can call them and ask for an exception if needed due to not as described.
Fashionphile's return policy changed from 30 days to now 15 days. I know, that sucks. So the clock starts on the day they SHIP the item out to you. If your item was shipped on 5/16 then you have until 5/31 (15 days) to return. That isn't very fair considering it can take a week or more to receive an item and if that happens, it leaves you with even a shorter return window. :( When an item is coming to me from NY it takes about 7 to 8 days for me to receive it usually.

I've recently had an issue with FP so just a heads up - I returned the bag on the very last day of their new return policy. Then I got email with a "good news" that they will relist my item as it was retuned "too late". :confused1:
Not to mention that it took almost a week for the item to arrive in the first place...
Yes i don't care for this new return policy of 15 days. If it is 15 days it should be 15 days starting on when you RECEIVED your item, not 15 days from when it was shipped. That is not very fair.

Update:
Life lesson- have a little faith and don’t immediately jump to the worse case scenario.

My package from FP never tracked and yet it showed up at my front door today, with everything it was supposed to have in it.

Annoying, yes. FP’s fault? No. UPS should have updated tracking on a high value package.

Anyway, wanted to provide an update. I am going to go take a chill pill now.
Wow! Glad you received your item! I would have been stressed out! Lol. I'm in California. I prefer my packages to go to Neimans or to the FP Carlsbad location and I'll pick up there. That way the ball is either on Neimans end or FP's end. My worst nightmare is for them to say they delivered my package and I signed for it yet it went to the wrong house! It's my word bs theirs. Nightmare!

I just ordered a Speedy 25 in DA. It was a great deal. There are some signs of wear, so I‘m crossing my fingers for what it will look like in person. Really, I just wanted something fun in DA and I don’t want to worry about babying it after paying full price (or going through the whole patina process). It’s been a few years since I purchased something outside of the boutiques. Here’s hoping!

Great! I hope it is to your liking! Just fyi Fashionphile changed their return policy from 30 days to now 15 days starting with the ship date. You may have seen that already in this forum but just in case you did not, I want to make you aware. :) I have a DE 25 as well. Such a carefree cute bag, but I almost never reach for it. Lol

Here’s the speedy! I hate Damier Azur with new vachetta so I was looking for something with a little patina that I wouldn’t have to fret about. Fashionphile had this listed as “very good” for $920. It’s from 2014.

Pros: very even patina, only minor darkening under handles, interior pristine, canvas pristine.

Cons: I am wondering if this patina is too dark? The patina has a bit of a yellow undertone. I wanted something more carefree, but I don’t want to be on the verge of gross handles. I don’t own another vachetta piece this old to compare it to.

I have a couple more days to decide.

ETA: it’s quite similar to the tone of my carryall mm with treated leather, which I think makes me feel better. IMG_7830.jpeg

Wow! I love the patina! It's so pretty! I think it looks fantastic! I am a new patina type of girl and if I was looking to buy another vachetta bag, that is about the color patina I would choose. I personally would not want it any darker. It looks as if you are the original owner and imo you got a good price. Overall these pics, do not show the age of the bag at all. Think on it as you have to be happy with your purchase but I say it is DEFINITELY a keeper! :) If you decide to keep it enjoy! It's the perfect bag for summer!

I am so sorry this happened to you. I had a somewhat similar experience, and I was reimbursed for the item, though it took some time for them to complete a full investigation.

I wouldn't usually post sensitive information on a public thread, but I have had two situations recently with them, though they are both a bit different. One was a pair of earrings for ~$15k that I shipped to consign with them; the package showed delivery but my selling page never updated. I called them and they launched an investigation, though clearly someone stole it along the way. I don't know if it was the shipping service or at Fashionphile. After about a month, Fashionphile paid me for the earrings, likely through their insurance plan. Now again, just today, I was wondering why a bracelet that I ordered on Friday, about $14k, had not yet shipped. I contacted customer service and they said that while looking for the item in order to ship it, it had gone missing and they cannot locate it. It definitely seems like someone is stealing items at Fashionphile, but I don't understand why this is still going on, as I'm sure that they have cameras everywhere.
Interesting. Had so many issues with their fine jewelry too (just posted a story).
