Fashionphile themselves told you to file a chargeback? Call your credit card company. Explain the issue and tell them you can forward them emails from the sender if need be. It'll be fine...don't panic

I can't not panic I can't believe this I can't believe them I feel like I can't breath

Easier said then done but try to remain calm. Panicking will not resolve anything except
to cause you further physical & emotional distress.
You tried to discuss this reasonably with Fashionphile to no avail. Now it is time to contact your cc
The weight of the package speaks for itself.
Reach out to your cc as suggested above. File a dispute. Hopefully you have
all your communications & names of people you spoke with & the credit card company will
likely do their own investigation with all the parties concerned ( fashionphile & shipping company)
Be patient, sit tight & hopefully this matter will get resolved..
Good luck..

You said it's been 3 weeks. I hope you are able to breathe. We have given you all the tools you need to resolve this issue. Many of us have been in similar situations. It seems like your phone calls were not adequate and then you sent emails. As stated, calmly reach out to your credit card company and they will launch an investigation. Good luck to you :flowers:

I’ve never had to actually prove anything. My credit card companies have always credited when I have had to file a dispute. But I always file immediately when there is any issue. My suggestion is to file the dispute and deal with your credit card company only.

I had something similar happen - their only answer to unfortunately when questioning the listing was...."you can return for a refund." :hrmm:
Yeah, more or less. They didn't care that their measurements were wrong so I received something different than expected, they cared that they wouldn't list it at a different price even if their listing was right. I'm returning for full refund - I purchased on Reserve and they are waiving the fee since I wouldn't return if their listing had been accurate and I would have known what to expect.

...I did see the same bag listed on another site in similar condition for less anyhow so may take my chances there.

Thank you everyone for all your help and messages I really appreciate it I still have no update from my credit card company
How can a company do this????!!!!((((((
I'm sorry this has happened to you. I have been purchasing from FP since 2017 and I never really had any problem with them other than the items themselves not working out. When you first received the package from UPS, did you have to sign for it? Do you remember if the package appeared not normal, i.e., tempered or very lightweight, before you opened? Lastly, was there a packing slip inside? They usually include a packing slip with a check mark and/or an initial on it indicating who packed it.

Good luck with the cc dispute and I hope the case resolves in your favor.

Hello I placed an order over $8,000. It has been about 5 days and the status says awaiting shipment. Is this typical? ty

I'm not sure if the dollar amount matters. It’s my second order, but my largest.
At one time that would have been unusual. I don’t think it’s all that unusual anymore. There’s not a lot of rhyme or reason to how they operate the past several months. Having said that I can tell you I’ve always received everything I’ve ordered and been paid for everything I’ve sold. If it makes you feel better by all means email or call them, and ask them if they know when you can expect your purchase to ship. Five days awaiting shipment is nuts.

I have been dealing with fashionphile for years without issue. Ever since I started returning things to the New York location, which is the location closest to where I live, umm not so much. Last week, I sold back two items that I purchased from them, mini pochette empreinte and Neverfull GM. Guess which one was “lost” or “misplaced” or most likely stolen? Yup the Neverfull. The refund process from receipt is 5 business days. They opened the package the day after it was received, processed the mini pochette, and apparently the Neverfull GM was not processed. I thought it was odd and lo and behold, they have to do an investigation to locate it. Thank God I kept the UPS drop off receipt which reflects the weight of the box. After this investigation is over, I’m done with Fashionphile Forever..
