Thank you, I'm sure it will work out in the end, but I am thinking about you and your stressful situation! Please let us know if you need any other suggestions or just to get some encouragement! I'm sure your case will be resolved; most likely what they will do is check the weights of your package as it went through different stops along the way. I am certain they will reimburse you eventually before you have to take things into your own hands with a credit card claim etc.

In my case, it did take about a month for reimbursement, but they used the weight of the package changing along the way to prove that the package that was sent was not the same as what was delivered.
Thank you for your assurance, I really needed it! But my package was only missing the item, all other packaging were still in the box, when I picked it up it was light but not like empty. So Hopefully the weight change can be located somewhere along the way! I know the process would take long, FP emailed me they would have the decision in 3 weeks and I will let you know! Figures crossed!

Thinking about you in the meantime! As long as your item weighed more than a couple of ounces, the difference should be picked up, but not every stop weighs them. It should be covered by Fashionphile, but worst case you can file a claim with your credit card down the road if needed.

Hey everyone! This just happened to me today and it has never happened before with FP! I ordered an lv item and it was delivered without my signature (of course). I first was confused because the box was opened from the button and was re-tapped with clear tape. The box itself was a little smashed. I didn’t think too much I thought this was a reused box. And I opened it, The lv box and dust bag was in there but NOT the bag. I was so bummed out! I don’t want to accuse anyone but I do feel this was done during transit. Who could’ve have access to packages while it’s in transit? I found 2 “suspicious points”. first, the tracking was showing delayed for one day right after it was entered the delivery system and second, the little white sticker used to sort the item within their system is ON THE TOP of the re-tapping.
I reached out to FP, I’m waiting for their investigation result. Does anyone know what would most likely to happen in my case? Will I get my money back via refund? I’m banging my head to the wall for not video tapping the unboxing, lol.
Thanks!
This is exactly what happened to me!!!! It has been over 2 months and Fashionphile stole my money and sent me an empty box with a nail filer! I did not know they send nail filers with orders I thought it was a mistake I contacted them they were so rude to me they told me it was delivered to my address the tracking so they can't help me and they told me to contact my credit card, so I have and they are fighting me on it!!!! It has been over 2 months that I have been dealing with this please can you message me and tell me what is going on with you I can't believe this is a common thing to happen!!!!

I am so sorry this happened to you. I had a somewhat similar experience, and I was reimbursed for the item, though it took some time for them to complete a full investigation.

I wouldn't usually post sensitive information on a public thread, but I have had two situations recently with them, though they are both a bit different. One was a pair of earrings for ~$15k that I shipped to consign with them; the package showed delivery but my selling page never updated. I called them and they launched an investigation, though clearly someone stole it along the way. I don't know if it was the shipping service or at Fashionphile. After about a month, Fashionphile paid me for the earrings, likely through their insurance plan. Now again, just today, I was wondering why a bracelet that I ordered on Friday, about $14k, had not yet shipped. I contacted customer service and they said that while looking for the item in order to ship it, it had gone missing and they cannot locate it. It definitely seems like someone is stealing items at Fashionphile, but I don't understand why this is still going on, as I'm sure that they have cameras everywhere.
Oh my god can you please read what happened to me Fashionphile didn't send me my order only a nail filer I have been dealing with this over 2 months now with my credit card after they turned me away and told me to contact my credit card now they are fighting me on it they stole my money!!!!

I’ve been fortunate to have only had positive selling experiences & hope everyone receives resolution.
This was a bit odd though. I’ve never purchased but today I saw a bag I considered buying, listed at $3,805, and placed it in my cart. Hours later I received an email with a price reduction alert, down to $3,550. I clicked on the email and it took me to the listing page however the price on the page was $3,750. So there was a change in price but not the price listed on the email. A bit of a bait & switch situation. I realize not an issue as serious as the others’ but not cool in either case. Wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar.

Try calling Fashionphile first but then call your credit card company and file dispute. I now video opening my deliveries (although I’ve never had to show the video).

If you filed dispute with credit card it should be fine. I’ve never had a problem after filing a credit card dispute. I’ve always been credited. Most cc companies immediately credit your account pending investigation. And I’ve never had a cc company say no they wouldn’t make credit permanent

It doesn’t make any sense how they are charging retail price for some items that are available on the retailers website. It seems that most people would rather have a brand new item directly from the retailer than a used item for the same price? What is driving this? The item in question is a Cartier piece.
I have wondered this as well.

Wow, that is so crazy. Is this the NY location? I feel like they’re a mess compared to the Cali one.

I’ve sold and bought at least 50 bags over the past 5 years to FP with no incidence. Ever since the NY location opened up and items has been transported to them, nothing but issues. Recently had an investigation open because they “lost” a NF GM 3 days after they opened the box but processed the mini pochette same day they opened the box. Both items were in the same box. Thank God I kept the receipt which reflects the weight of the box. After I presented the receipt, the NF magically appeared. I don’t trust dealing with them anymore..

THIS! Honestly, someone in NY is either negligent or worse.

I made a big mistake.

I said I was done with FP. Then a rare capucines mini comes available on the site, one where only a handful were made so I pulled the trigger as I have been hunting for the last year on this bag

Item was shipped on Friday. Ups says they scanned it into their system on Friday afternoon…at a weight of 1 lb. It hasn’t been scanned since. When I try to track it, it says estimated delivery date will be calculated once item is in UPS possession. It’s been 5 days!!

Called FP and was told their default for weight is 1 lb. They rely on Ups to update the weight once it is scanned into their system. This process it ripe for fraud and theft IMO.

They don’t know where the bag is. They are going to “send to their investigation team”. This has bad news written all over it.

BTW- not from NYC, from Calabasas this time.
