I've been there. It is soul crushing to realize that a mistake/whim purchase can be very costly. This is why I have slowed down my spending with the "premium" brands. The market is oversaturated with these goods... The resellers are able to get a great deal (I get they have their costs to ship, promote etc..), then they sell for current as new market price.
Exactly! Ironically my backpack sold shortly after I posted here! I put it at a reasonable price and I’m taking a hit but I think I’m only losing like $150. I’m trying to view it as if a rented the bag for a month. I’m just thankful it sold and I’ll ship it out tomorrow to the authenticate. Glad I didn’t take the lowball offers from FP or TRR ha!

I tried doing a search through the thread but couldn't find this type of issue. Has anyone been able to get a price adjustment from Fashionphile when the measurements listed for the product don't line up with the item received? Others' experiences here seem to be unsuccessful on issues with condition like marks/scratches, missing items, and odors.

I purchased an item listed as 15" long and 9" tall but when I got it, I was surprised how small it was when I took it out of the box. Even at its flattest and unwrinkled, I could get generously 13.5" long and 8" tall. The width is squishier and harder to measure and I see how they could get the 5.5" listed, though really I'd say it was closer to 5".

I called and sent photos via email, but was told it would take up to two business days to review so I'm sitting on it for at least 4 or 5 days.

The bag itself is otherwise as described as far as condition and accessory items included. I like it and it seems to fit what I would need to carry without being too bulky so am not opposed to keeping it necessarily, but disappointed in the inaccuracy of something as concrete as measurements.
 
I can see this being a problem as my experience shipment scan be delayed for reasons of weather, signature required - and it was missed, etc. I am super paranoid of these things. I will not hold any designer bag no longer than 1-2 days if possible. I get it back to store/reseller immediately. If they have changed, I'm not happy about it. I will be more careful when ordering.

I wonder if FP can validated when bag was delivered - then start the countdown by delivery date? Do you do this already?
The truth is they count 15 days from the ship date. No time to authenticate the handbag once you received... I just found out :sad:
 
Please someone help me I think I am having a heart attack. Fashionphile did not send me my order they sent me a nail filer!!!!!!!! I contacted them and told them this doesn't make sense I did not recieve my order I asked them if this was the correct order and tracking and address and they said yes and they would look into it. I tried to contact them several times and they would not answer or it would say they are in a meeting and I was told to press 4 because they are different departments. After 3 weeks I receive an email saying that the package was delivered and they will close this and not move forward. I never said the package was not delivered I said I didn't receive what I ordered!!!!! I even asked for the phone call which they sent where I stated I did not recieve my order but they are saying I said I didn't receive my package which I never said and at first I didn't hear the employee on the phone but I never said I didn't receive my package I said I didn't receive my item!!!! And this was after I started pressing option 1 and asking for a phone call back because no one answers and emailing multiple times thinking this is all a JOKE!!!!! I literally want to kill myself this is a lot of money either way even if it was a little money HOW CAN A COMPANY NOT SEND YOU YOUR ITEM BUT INSTEAD AN EMPTY BOX????????????????????????????????????????????????????? I have a heart condition I cannot deal with this please someone help me please someone help me I really don't feel good :(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((

Do you have the box it came in still ? Look at the weight of the package. Since you received a nail filer the weight will be much lighter than what you paid for. Did you call your credit card company yet?

Do you have the box it came in still ? Look at the weight of the package. Since you received a nail filer the weight will be much lighter than what you paid for. Did you call your credit card company yet?
Yes I have the box it says 1 lb and I called UPS to ask if it was weighed that much when they sent it they said they couldn't tell me I have to talk to sender and I called my credit card company just recently because I thought this is all an obvious mistake on their end oh my god I don't know what to do this is not right and ups won't help me either they say I have to go through sender because I am the receiver :sad:((((((((((((((((((((((((

Dispute charge with your credit card company. I now video when I open boxes. Good luck
 
I know this is stressful and Fashionphile isn’t perfect, they have screwed things up on my end more times than I can count. That said, they always make it right eventually. Good luck.

I agree with disputing it with your CC company

I had something similar happen - their only answer to unfortunately when questioning the listing was...."you can return for a refund." :hrmm:

You will need to calmly explained to Fashionphile what has happened. If this does not work and they refuse to investigate then your next option is to contact your CC company and file a dispute.

As mentioned above, you need to calmly call your credit card company and tell them that you ordered an item and received an empty box. Let them know you've already talked to the seller and that the merchant is not willing to make good on the loss. Then file a chargeback. The credit card company will find in your favor.

As mentioned above, you need to calmly call your credit card company and tell them that you ordered an item and received an empty box. Let them know you've already talked to the seller and that the merchant is not willing to make good on the loss. Then file a chargeback. The credit card company will find in your favor.
I contacted my credit card company as Fashionphile won't speak to me and only email me telling me to file a chargeback with my financial institution but they will show a tracking and say a package was delivered but I did not receive my order how am I supposed to prove anything????????????
