Brands you don't like/don't buy from/find personally to be overrated?

MK and Ivanka ***** come to mind. I see way too much of that stuff at nordstrom rack, but it never looks unique enough to buy.

The Ivanka ***** designs are basically just copies of popular lines, I believe she was sued a few times for copying other designers, and the quality is while not bad, just not good enough for the price, especially if you buy a rip off copy of another designer

Fast fashion (Forever 21, Zara, H&M...) The clothing is poorly constructed, they frequently steal ideas from independent designer and they're unethical in every way.

^^ Yeah, but that's the attraction of LP, the vibrant patterns. I like bright colors, but more in solids than extreme patterns.

Very true. Sort of like Vera Bradley.....the attraction for the die hard VB lovers is the patterns. I get it. It’s just not for me. But I have to say anyone I’ve seen in LP looks really cute. I’m just too much of a neutrals girl personally.

It's ok if you don't like the brand but it's not ok to trash people who does. You can express your opinion with respect. Otherwise you are just the same as what you are accusing others of.

I think it's OK to say what you feel is "personally overrated". It's quite another thing to be judgmental and rude about the people who think otherwise and enjoy wearing that brand.

If anyone find any singular post here overly rude or personal just report the post.

For example, I absolutely don't get the J.W. Anderson Pierce bags and would never buy one, because they look like pig noses to me. Every time I see one, I have to think of a pig nose. However, that's absolutely no reason to trash someone who loves and enjoys this bag, more power to them. To each his own, we all have our own style and many of us love different things/brands. It would be a boring world if we all shared the same taste .

I generally won’t say never to an entire brand. For example, I have an east west navy blue Hamilton I use as a kick around bag and l think it’s cute. However, I do not get Vera Bradley bags. There is so much going on that I often wonder what would one wear with such a bag?
