I literally wanted to write this post . . . like word for word . . . the scenario, the feelings . . . this happened 30minutes ago, I wish there was a way to fix it, I actually buy a lot from Nordstrom but like some of the people said, Nordstrom Rack is like one off items / brands, everything fits differently so I do buy s, m, l sometimes or whatever it's available and try it out and I would say I also return 85-90% of the time for Nordstrom Rack but keep everything I've bought from Nordstrom and have their credit card . . . but somehow I'm only banned from Nordstrom Rack (good and bad I guess) I really wish I can "fix" the situation but it's "final" so that's still kind of embarrassing and upsetting

Nothing is ever final in retail until the store and/or website is permanently shut down. I have returned final sale stuff I bought online a few times. It was always accepted and I received a refund. Really, try in a year or so. I wouldn't be surprised if your record was purged from their database. After all, a sale is a sale.

NR is my least favorite store. I live by a bunch of them and never, ever find a good deal. It's way overpriced for what you get. I don't think you are missing much but I know people get attached to certain shops. Take care and pls don't be embarrassed. There are far worse things that people have done.

Just happened to me....I was shocked when I read the letter stating I was banned from online purchases because I have had too many returns. Everything I did was honest and nothing was ever worn or abused. I too ordered the same items in different sizes. I called twice to try and reverse it since I didn't receive any warning. Both CS Reps insisted they had sent an email 3 months ago informing me that they were reviewing my account.
I feel a bit cheated and I know that if I had seen that initial email, I would have taken action. I wish I could redeem myself!! Hoping one day they will.....

Is this for NS rack or regular NS? So sorry this happened!

I got the warning email and voluntarily stopped shopping there so they don't have to ban me. :) Seriously, bring your money elsewhere. There's something wrong with their business model if they have to go banning this many honest people.

It turned out even worse for me... still can't believe it ! I did not get a warning message, and out of the blue got this e-mail that I am blocked... Like many people here, I was ordering multiple sizes / colors, and in no way was doing anything shady... I am 5'3" - 38F... next to impossible to find a good fit, thus a lot of returns. I have about the same rate of return across all the stores I shop at, and only NR wrote a harshly worded e-mail and blocked me. Well, NR is not the only store in the world, no big deal, I thought.
But my account on NR.com is blocked as well, so I can't view any of my past orders. I need that, because I know for sure I did not get a refund for some of the items in my last return, two or three...Not a huge amount, around $100, but still I'd like to have my money back...
I called customer service, and they told me they can't access my account either, it's "erased" from their system, and nothing can be done about it. What's wrong with keeping historic order records active, at least for some time? Like I am such a horrible customer that they need to get rid of all traces of me ASAP.
On top of that.... the 50% penalty for returns made past 45-day deadline was introduced when my return was already on its way back to NR. The day I shipped it back I double-checked the return policy, and there was no mention of the penalty yet, so I assumed I would get store credit or a CC refund as I was only one or two days over the deadline. However, when they received my return, 2 days !! past the deadline, the 50% penalty was already in place. So they applied it to my return without notifying me. The return was over a $1000, guess how much I got back
It didn't matter that when the return was made the new policy wasn't in place yet. My problem is not the penalty itself, but the fact that it got applied without any notification or my consent. Plain and simple bad business practice. So right after getting back 50% less than I paid, being charged the return fee FIVE times !! on a single box (they did reverse that after 3 hrs on the phone)... I got blocked... Sorry for the long-winded rant :) I'm still fuming about all this.

You cannot shop there, any purchases linked to your name or address will be blocked. From my understanding, it is a lifetime ban.

How would they check this? Seriously, they aren't cross referencing every name, think about how many Smiths or Millers would have a problem and I was never asked for my address when I shopped there, bought something, handed over cash or put the card and pin in...

#1, Why would you want to shop somewhere that doesn't want you?
#2. Why let them profit from your hard-earned money?

If you pay cash, you aren't required to give any other person information. If you insist on patronizing a business that doesn't want you, bring cash.
