^^^They had a gold/GH Vachee leather I thought it was very heavy, and I'm used to large, heavy bags, it was gorgeous though!

What timing I have! I'm supposed to be getting my 35 cm clemence Birkin any day nowush: , and I'm sure it was made last year!

I received a call last Monday to say my 35 clemence Birkin had arrived at my local H store - I am going to go and check her out and if all is perfectto take her home with me this coming Monday. I was told that there would be price increases in January, and like the little fool that I am, was so surprised when I received the call to say my Birkin had arrived that I did not ask the price. Oh God! Oh God!
Does anyone know if this is a yearly increase that they have? I know with Vuitton they do a half yearly increase, but nowhere as steep as this. If this is true for Hermes that it is a yearly increase, imagine if I get my next Birkin in 3 years say, it'll be EUR900 more? 
hey djsmom, i remember reading you got yours from charlotte? that must be the black birkin my SA said cost 8200, i was wondering the leather since it is 1000 more than my own black epsom. do post pics, i would love to see what the leather looks like!

congrats!^^^^Oh I would love to see too! The Gold 35 I tried on in the Charlotte store was Vachee Liagee as well, looked really lovely.
was it two toned looking, bag loving mom? i wonder how it compares to the other gold bags esp with the steep increase in price!
^^^ Hey P! it wasn't two-toned, but the gold was definitely lighter looking than in togo, (I've only seen gold in togo and the VL) I didn't think it was gold, but that's what the tag said. From what I recall it was $8200.
Is $8200 the new price, because if it isn't boy am I glad I got mine. When I picked the bag up from the Tysons store, the SA's jaws dropped when they saw it and they couldnt' believe that it was VL nor could they believe I got a birkin. I am kind of new to the H world but after I got my black JPG nothing else compares to H. I was determined to get me a birkin only because I got tired of calling stores and hearing them tell me what I couldnt get and what wasn't possible, etc. I have one more non-H item, a Chanel Cambon Reporter bag, should I sell that bag or hold on too it. I sold many, many bags to pay for my JPG. I like the reporter though I havent carried it since I got my JPG.
