I made my first purchase with them and had multiple issues. First, my order was on hold for a couple of weeks for some reason no one bothered to contact me. When i called up customer service they said they cant help me as only the ''risk'' team can look into it. It took them 3 weeks to release the hold on my order.
And when it finally arrived after 6 weeks, they then they refused to pay for return shipping even though the product clearly did not conform to stadard measumers (and ofcourse they give only in store credit!!!). I ordered a size 4 (my usual size) and believe me there was room for 2 of us to fit it!!!
Horrible CUstomer service- my interaction with them gives me the impression its garage shop that dont give two hoots about customer service. Im a regular wih other discount sites and never had one issue to be honest!

Hi everyone,
I have been ordering from BTR for a year now, and spent ALOT of money on this site...
I have had to return about 75% of my orders... I've returned clothing because it was horrible, cheap quality. I've returned about 10 pairs of boots because there was no specific sizing chart, and although all the boots that are priced above $100 were actually great quality and real leather, they were either huge or too small. Since you only get 20 minutes in your cart to buy the item before another customer can reserve it, there is not alot of time to look up the fit on the internet.
When you send things back, it is a bit unfair because although they send you a pre-paid shipping label, they do not refund your tax, and they take the return shipping charge off of the credit you receive back.
When you order something and it never comes, and the order has to be cancelled (Yes, even DESIGNER BAGS etc,) you do get your CC refunded. I have had about 3 orders cancelled because the stock never came, and my CC has always had a refund within 5 business days of the notice, so at least you don't have to be worried about that.
You only get a store credit when you receive the item and send it back.
Hope that re-assures some people :)

PS. Has anyone gotten Uggs off that site? I noticed they have them on next Tuesday, as an Ugg lover I would love to get some, but after reading some of this I would be worried that they would be fake... thoughts?

If you're returning 75% of your items, and they keep your tax why do you keep ordering from them?

Because I always have a credit. Trust me, I've got it down to $80 from the hundreds it was before (from my first few orders before I realized how horrible the customer service and quality is on most items.)

I will never shop BTR ever again. I tried them a few times, and have had to return every single order. They sent the wrong items, and even the replacement items were wrong!! Do not order from BTR if you need something by a specific date. Forget that. Shipping takes months. I have a credit on my BTR account and I have no desire whatsoever to use it. I would not care if they were giving stuff away. It's just not worth it.
Now, let me tell you how I really feel. lol

Yea, I just unsubscribed them so I won't be tempted. :amuse::amuse: I just don't trust them since they are in another country, but I did notice on my last order they shipped through a third party in Philly- weird, huh?

I didn't realize they were in another country.... either way, there are plenty of other places to shop who are not as shady as BTR. Their Facebook page is full of complaints; one after another.

I guess I am among the lucky ones then, as I have made two orders with BTR that thankfully went through without a hitch. My most recent order even arrived before the estimated arrival date. I am located in Canada. I was reassured when they sent me many email updates while I waited for it to arrive too. Just thought I'd add a positive review to the mix. (Though I probably won't be shopping through them any more. Too much temptation to buy things I don't really need because they are only available for a limited time. Plus, I just don't see myself as getting that much of a deal when it's all said and done..)

I shopped with them twice so far and had no problems. They do state that orders can take 2-4 weeks to ship. By comparison Hautelook takes an eternity to arrive. Maybe I was lucky but both times I got my shipments in a bit over a week. The website still listed them as processing but they were delivered to my door. I'm in NY so maybe I'm near a distribution center or something.

I've shopped with them a few times, usually takes a month to get my orders.
Recently, they've been selling alot of consignment items which i wouldn't buy unless i physically can see the condition they're in.

Personally I've only ordered from Beyond the Rack a few times. First time it was a piece of a set of drawers and when I got it, let just say the pictures are deceiving ad description is not accurate. On top of all that some of the pieces didn't fit together. Luckily I was able t get my money back. The other times I've order were for shoes.. It took over a month for me to get one pair of the 6 i had ordered! However, slowly I began to receive the other shoes but there were 2 that either got "short shipped" or the supplier was not doing their job. I was able to get a hold of customer service and they cancelled my orders, refunded me and gave me a 20$ credit. I guess I was just really lucky that the customer service reps who helped me knew what they are doing and were really nice.

I just ordered some sunglasses and I'm praying that I don't have issues with shipping. I saw them on the Cosmo website under daily freebies. I'm located in Texas, so, I know shipping will take a while. I just want my stuff to come in before my birthday and I love all their deals:w00t:. However, if I encounter any Bull****, then I will definitely write a worded letter to BTR represetative, cosmo, post on fb, twitter, tumblr, and all the other social networks that I am on. Hopefully it will not have to come to that.:nospam:

I understand that shipment from whoever they get their stuff from will take a few days, but I also agree that one should not be charged until one have received ones items/should not be charged until shipment from BTR to the consumer.

Also, I wanted to know if all of the things they sell are real. It seems too good to be true sometimes.

Hi! I was just wondering if anyone else has had trouble with Beyond the Rack? They have great deals, so I purchased from them a few times. The first time, it took over a month to hear from them, and when I finally got a response to my emails, they told me they didn't have the product I had ordered. They then offered me a different size which luckily fit me. It then took 2 more weeks for them to ship it out. The day after Christmas, I decided to buy a few more items since I figured the one incident was just a fluke. Well, it's nearly a month later and I am yet to receive 3/4 of my order. I keep emailing and they just keep saying "it will be shipped soon". I can't cancel the order because they will just give me store credit; and frankly, who wants that when I am unhappy? I'm just curious to see if this has happened to anyone else? I did a search on google and it seems like many people have had the same problems that I have, but I'm just wondering if any tPF members have had issues? Thanks for your opinions!
I've ordered from beyond the rack many times! Shipping does take a while...3-4 weeks but I don't mind waiting. I usually only purchase unusual items that they sometimes carry...they have great designer handbag sales & I actually purchased my Armani Python from them for about 50% less than what I would've paid in the store. Great items can be found but the shipping is a pain....its because it comes from Canada to NY & from NY it ships out to wherever you are...but the warehouse is in Canada I think.
