Well,I got the bag and it is in really great vintage condition. The "broken zipper" was super easy to mend with a tiny bit of krazy glue. Anyway,I had no problem's with BTR whatsoever from beginning to end. I'm really happy.

It happened to me too. I ordered a MK shades on May 25 and only last week because I decided to ask what was going on they said that the supplier did not have the item i ordered (the one I had paid for) and due to system's errors the supplier said that it was shipped but it never was. Meanwhile they were sending me these e-mails sending "i'm sorry, your order is delayed" but didn't really say why. They only told me the truth last week, when I demanded explanation. At least they refunded my money and gave me $10 credit.

It was only my first experience with them. I really did not want to buy from them anymore, and I think $10 credit is not worth for the amount of time we have to wait and we don't even know if we will get what we bought!

Ragards

I have completely banned BTR I refuse to purchase another item from them, their CS is horrid and they take forever to get items shipped out, it once took me six weeks to get an item I ordered.

I just placed my second order with BTR and fully expected to wait 4-6 weeks for the item but it shipped within two days of ordering. I haven't had a problem yet since I already knew that they had long shipping times.

Someone at the very beginning of this thread has mentioned that their deals are not 'deally' enough. That's completely true, even official websites ( JC, for example) have better deals on newer collections than BTR does. I am right now in a fight over a pair of "fornarina" jeans that arrived to me around 2 weeks ago, that were not even of the mentioned brand ( serves me right, never will you see an authentic pair of these jeans for 25 dollars). Despite the CSR assuring me that they would refund the money to my card, they have of course given me their website credit. Never-ever will I buy from these scammers again.

I haven't bought anything from BeyondtheRack yet...probably turning into never after reading through this forum. However, I have shopped with HauteLook. I got a free people skirt for $30, with tax and shipping-which is insane in Canada. But it took almost 2 months to ship but they almost immediately charged my credit card ?! I spoke to their customer service rep. who made me feel stupid, said I should have read the terms&conditions better and made it seem like it was my fault! Unless I see an amazing deal, chances are I'm never buying anything from their again.

HL has does nothing but make me angry lately. Their ship times have become horrendous, the quality of their merchandise is potty, and their CS reps talk to you like you're a small, misbehaving child. Pass.

I just checked out Gilt Group, a bunch of people where talking about it on this thread. And I noticed some of their prices are in Euros, is that normal?

Hmm. Never seen that. :shrugs:

I am not surprised and what I'm reading about the horrible customer service. I just got off the phone with their customer service. I've been waiting 6 weeks for items and they're telling me it'll be an additional 2 before I even see the items. They offered me a $10.00 credit and a free shipping coupon, whom they put in everyone's box. That's all fine an dandy but I traded e-mails with multiple people only to find out last week the the dresses were held up by customs. No one told me that initially. I just got the "canned" response. Not to mention the dresses are going to Canada, where BTR is located, then shipped back to the US. Really? If this was my first experience I wouldn't be so mad but it's not. I returned an item, and of course they only offer store credit, but it too over 6 weeks to post the credit to my account. in the mean time, sales came and went that I would have liked to spend that credit on, because I refused to spend my "money" with them until they returned my initial payment. They then charged me for using their shipping label when, in fact, i purchased my own label.

Every time I've asked to speak to a supervisor, the rep tells me she is one. Anyone who has worked in customer service knows that Supervisors do not answer phones. [FONT=&quot]I asked for someone above her, to which she told me that person was not in. I asked for a time and date as to when they would be in to which, magically she sent me to a shipping supervisor. The shipping supervisor, basically told me the same things as the CS rep who was a supervisor. I’m sorry, that’s not sufficient. Not to mention the fact she was as rude as can be, talking over me and basically annoyed at my frustrations, when my frustration is warranted. I found out who the Co-CEOs are and I've e-mailed them and will also fallow up with a letter. I am also going to cancel my account with them.

If you haven't purchased, I'd suggest you don't.

I've also Contacted the CEO via Linkedin. I'm that frustrated..

I ordered a pair of shoes at BTR on June 29th. I still have not received them. It said they ship their stuff within 2-3 weeks. I emailed them and all they said was sorry they are backordered. Can I cancel my order??
