Being Banned From Coach Stores - Did You Read?

Coach manufactures so much product and does need a way to move all that inventory.

When I took the Coach survey and answered questions like "where do you purchase Coach items" and essentially "is it worth the price?" . . .

my comments were . . . I live too far from a boutique or outlet, most purchases are from Coach.com so, I will never be invited to a PCE, but in 3-4 months Coach moves product to outlets in turn it's available on Ebay, my question to them was "is that what the product is really worth?"

What's with so many sellers not knowing until they get to the store though? I thought someone said they do send the letter. I surely would rather get it at home.

It depends to be honest, I know LP sends letters to the person and one to each store in the district. The letter could have been sent to an address they were using discreetly and not their actual home. I don't think they should act surprised at all though because most of the time they're a big seller on ebay and sure they know of the forums and have heard of people get banned, so it shouldn't be shocking to them.

I never buy more than 3 of any one item, and I've even said "oh, it's for my nieces" or something like that. and, I don't list them all at once, and I've only been selling a few coach items on ebay for like 3 months, just for a little extra money while I'm on disability. It is maybe 10 things a month, I've just been to the coach outlets a lot lately. I don't want to get banned, I don't want to break the rules, but I feel like I am buying the stuff legally, I keep more than I sell for myself or gifts, I'm not a big bad ebay meanie who steals all of the good Coach from everyone else.

misreading the title or louislovers thread got me thinking. has anyone gotten the letter or know someone who got the letter, the one that bans you from buying ever again. i would love to see a picture of one and get some more info on it.

Wow, they have a letter? :confused1: I don't even want to know what kind of foolishness someone has to exhibit in order to get one. I mean, I'm sure it has to do with theft or fraud, but good grief.

WOW! How can they stop someone from buying their products? Isn't that illegal, like discrimination or something? Or do they have just cause because they are not an authorized reseller selling their product?
