Being Banned From Coach Stores - Did You Read?

Sometimes I wonder if the used purses come as a by-product of purse snatching or breaking into someone's house. I envision Carrie on Sex and the City when they stole her shoes. I also wonder if they will smell bad, you can't see smell. I can't do smell bad. No way. yuck yuck yuck.

I won't buy from anyone that doesn't offer returns either. Just in case a new bag isn't new or it does smell.

I would buy NWT if the price was reasonable- I can understand it being marked up for fees, etc.
I often choose to sell NWT stuff rather than return it, and I am not a reseller. Sometimes I just buy a lot of different things and don't like to spend my time going back to the store to return something I don't want anymore, even though I can.

+1. My nearest coach store is 2 hours away, so I would rather sell my NWT items on ebay rather than eat up my time and gas to make a return at the store. And lately the SA's at my store have gotten very pushy about "exchanging" the item for something else, when I just a refund.

Yeah, that's the advantage with the vintage Coach bags .... they can handle a good hard cleaning (ala the rehab clubhouse) and come out even better than before. For the LVs I stuck with more reliable outlets of pre-owned ... fashionphile (BEFORE it changed hands -- it wasn't perfect then, but was at least better than it is right now) and yoogiscloset. Double-checked for authenticity here of course too. Yoogis (as too I hear anns, jills, etc) are pretty reliable about watching for smells/marks/etc. But admittedly, I don't think they carry Coach anymore. I do agree wholeheartedly that I like to have some faith in what I'm getting. :smile1:

LMAO! Can't imagine gettin a smelly pair of shoes!

Yeah, I'll agree with the shoes. I'm pretty sure I could not do pre-owned on them, no matter how good the condition or how careful the previous owner. (But then I still wouldn't buy from a big reseller either. For me, that cringe factor would still remain. ;) Guess I'm lucky I'm not a big shoes hound, huh.)

From my perspective I would rather buy gently-used from a reputable reseller with a return policy and cover myself with eBays protection - than getting a NWT return from the FOS that's been sitting in someone's nasty house or out to dinner. At least with pre-owned I KNOW it's been used.

And I will not EVER buy anything used. So to each their own. I know what nwt condition is. If I don't have to drive 150 miles round trip and spend a day to make the trip I don't judge, I am thankful. I just purchased a wallet this week. I do not even have a Coach store in my county and the outlets are two away. We have one department store that sells Brahmin and Coach.

Yeah, I don't buy used either. I once bought a used bag off ebay on a whim, and I could never get passed knowing that it had belonged to someone else, it felt sort of like buying used clothing ( I wound up giving it away.) That's probably why I don't like, nor keep, new bags that come looking like they are returns. Everyone's different though, that's just me.

Did I write this?? :roflmfao: (I'm not an Ebayer at all...buy or sell. Not my thang.)

And to get back on topic; I still think Coach is ABSURD for "banning" anyone for buying too much. Ridiculous. Returning too much...yeah, I could see that. But they are in business to sell, amirite??

I dont mind buying used if its in good condition especially if the price is rite .sometime some one will buy a bag use it once and relize its not for them
