Another Lv bag I don’t get, the Petite Malle! And the price! I’m curious to know anyone with this bag as to what fits and why they would pick this bag??

I kind of get it for evening bags where you don't actually need it to fit anything, but when it first came out, it should have checked all my boxes: mini, limited, came in pink. I felt absolutely nothing. I am, however, completely all about the essentials trunk, the smaller version being released.

I'm not a grannyand, I do love my Chanel (single) flaps. But, honestly folks, I just can't stand the fussiness of the double flap. I need to organize a (tasteful, fashionably dressed) protest.
Thank you for this, dear ladies! I’ve been considering a 2.55 double flap and this has been a real and honest eye-opener; I think it would drive me insane!
So that's the name of that bag! I see it all the time on IG and I've been quite perplexed what it's supposed to be/do.
I don't get why Hermes had to reduce the perfectly usable and super-sexy 29cm Medor clutch to a wallet size 23. May as well carry a jewellery roll or wallet. In fact I have an H wallet that's 22cm.
I don't get any bag with suede-like/Alcantara/microfibre lining. It's nothing like suede. It's what counterfeiters used to line their replica bags with. It obviously gets filthy if it has to be washable. It's hideous.
Mono-prints are one thing but I don't get bags that have their whole name, however tastefully, on the outside. People that know already know and those that can't tell don't care. Hermes Double Sens is a lovely bag but ruined by this YSL (as SLP) led trend that never seems to go away.

Why do their bags have wings? I think they're supposed to be carried that way right, the wings aren't tucked inside the bag when used?

I have spent so much time at Balenciaga section of La Rinascente in Milan, simply staring at City bag and trying to understand its beauty, but I still don't see it. It's obvious that it's very practical to use, but the design doesn't appeal to me at all.

I always describe myself as pretty vanilla in terms of taste. I love my Damier Neverfull, my Chanel classic double flaps (although I 100% agree, the double flappy-ness is completely redundant
) and my Hermes Bs (reality star saturation notwithstanding). My Michael Kors Skorpios hobo is one of my favourite bags of all time (in the most delicious squishy chocolate leather and hardy enough that it's my go-to for travel).
I have definitely made the odd mistake in purchases and that only really becomes apparent with use over time - as in, the bag never makes it out of the closet
But I'm also old enough now to know that you do go through phases and change, so what I'm not using so much right now might becomes essential in a year or two.
I don't know that there are any bags I don't 'get' as such. There are lots of bags that aren't my particular taste or style (thank goodness or I'd be insolvent) but obviously they appeal to others and that's all a bag really has to do.

Haha, I actually showed my fiance this bag and said should i get it, first thing he said was "WHY ARE THERE FLAPS ON THE SIDE?! ISN;'T THAT TOO FUSSY AND ANNOYING FOR YOU?!" I guess it looks good, but he's right...I am definitely not a wings/exposed flap person.
I agree about the wings on the Céline. I thought that it was a cool bag until I saw it being carried by someone in the mall. It looked ridiculously big and unwieldy. To be honest, I feel that way about most Céline bags except the Box bag.

Agree. The only ones I like are the discontinued Edge and the very pretty Box.
I want to like the Belt but someone at Ceine has an extended gusset fetish. I just can't with the flying bat wings.
