Bag Limits at Different Boutiques

it really doesn't matter what the limit is or the 'rule' is. if your SA offers you only 1 per year, then that is your reality. other customer's reality may be 3 per season. the rules will always be guidelines, with exceptions sometimes being made. it isn't fair, but it is the way it is :-s it isn't like you telling your SA "well i can get one per season according to the rule" is going to inspire them to give you 2 per year :amuse:

:goodpost:

My friend always gets birkin every 3 months.... it is not bad , isn't?( so 1 year at least 4 birkins ( 1 out of 4 is "special order)
It is great ,isn't it....

OMG !!!! I cannot believe that. I envy so her. Y.Y

waiting for 3 months is much better than a year or more.

Wow, every 3 months is a lot! She must spends tons in the store buying other stuffs in order to get offered so often!

Thank you so much for the explanation!! I would like to report Jamie Chua, Victoria Beckham, and Kim Kardashian for breaking the 2 B/K rule. What is the toll free number for the H police?

:hugs:. There is this system which I'm not wrong is known as "restricted visibility". Where people of top Hermes level only can view your purchases and I believe are 'restricted' to VIPs and top-end buyers only. SMs and SAs are not allowed to view them. Only the GM/directors at most might be able to see.:smile1:

I echo this too.:smile1:

It might be unfair to many of us. Like in any brands and business, we have to give credits to the top-end spenders. I do think Hermes has been an equal opportunity brand because many of us who started with zero H finally able to own one especially those who bought from the boutique.

Except maybe over time, we felt that we want to own more and more. However, had to be dampened by the limits Hermes has given to each of us here. I do understand the frustrations of some. To me, Hermes is about enjoying for a lifetime. The longer you wait, the more you will enjoy every piece. Even if you don't have to wait for a long time, it's still about enjoying every piece for a lifetime.

Heck, I would be lucky to get 1 every 4 yrs. I just don't see why you have to spend south there just to be offered a Birkin!
I have bought an H bracelet and two other bags, and I'm still waiting:( then I speak to ck up ony status and they tell me I still have to physically come into their store to purchase a Birkin. The Birkin store where my SA is located at is in Atlanta and I'm in Texas, so I won't be able to just get in a car and drive there! Apparently, this is a new policy!
Has anyone else been told this?

Hermes is starting to sound like a secret society where no one knows what happens! It sounds as if every store seems to have different rules and guidelines as one of you said it all depends on what the SM says.
I live in Sydney Australia, does anyone know anything about the limits here, up until reading this post i never thought about questioning my SA about our system but dont worry I will be drilling her upon my next visit in store!
So far this year I've been called in twice for a B (once was theSydney store and other time was the Gold coast store) and both times it wasnt the colour I wanted but hell with it I didn't want to miss out so I bought them.

I know there's probably a smaller minority of members from Australia on TPF but can Anyone else tell me about their experience and or 'limits' of bags we are allowed?

I have heard it mentioned that your last 100 transactions within the country can be viewed by H staff. Do they also see what you buy on H.com? How would they link your profiles-- by address? Because I don't see a customer ID on the web receipts like I do on the store receipts!

They are only concerned about birkin and kelly purchases. You can buy as much of whatever you want of any items. Except birkins and kellys. Which is one bag every six months.

Thank you, Dear! I was just wondering if my silks SA might wonder why I bought something from the website instead of from her....things like that....and like whether my online purchases would "count" as spend or not at all because it is not at the local store...

It's my understanding that h.com is not connected with the computers at the stores. Although I have learned with H is that someone will tell me one thing and then someone else will tell me something completely different.

I was in one of the Las Vegas shops last week, saw a few things and in a moment of weakness called once I got home to purchase . They refused! According to a new policy they won't take an order by phone for anything from the leather department. In other words, you have to be in the store to buy and nothing can be shipped to another city or state unless the request is made at the point of purchase. Apparently they're trying to maintain inventory for local customers. Unfortunately my store in is patronized by so many tourists, there's nothing for us locals to buy.
