I wouldn't rush. If they can't get the computer to reflect no tax in WVA because they think it is western Virginia, I doubt they will get on the ball any time soon. It would require hiring some competent/talented IT folks.

There is this Hermes system which is known as centralized database. If you buy a bag in France, they might be able to track down about your records in Asia. I believe so for EU countries. Maybe those who reside there can provide further info.

However, it is not that easy to track one's records. For the new system to take place, they need to do a major change in their IT system. This might be taking effect soon. But with Hermes, they might leeway to some customers as we all know, they do work in mysterious ways.

Most clients data by right should be classified as limited visibility where SMs have the authority to view your purchases if I'm not mistaken. This is to avoid infringement of customers' particulars, purchasing records. If anything happens, SM will be held liable. However, there are many stories about Hermes system worldwide.:smile1:

I spoke with my SA this morning and age told me that Hermes has changed their policies now you have to purchase bags in person, they can no longer ship, grrr! I understand why they do this but not all of us have a Hermes store near by, it's 3 hrs for me they are a small store so I'll never get one:(

sometimes I think there is no way around online hermes shopping. in my store they always have the worst carre shades, about 10 clic clacs in the wrong size if you are lucky to find a colour you like... last time I have been there they had 3! bags, not even a picotin or lindy or bolide. no kelly double tour, I just felt they had NOTHING!
as I am on list for a birkin in either a blue green or maybe rosé colour of which I am not sure if they will be able to get one and if they do I am not sure if I will like it, I asked when it would be possible to order another bag (if I would get one of these). she told me in about ONE YEAR!!!! I really felt a little depressed, more even when I see all the lovely things other members buy.
my sa might have noticed my upcomming depression and offered me a vache naturelle(I think it is barenia though) CDC. I bought it although I never felt like having a CDC. I love it now. good so, I have to, it will be the only leather item from my hermes store for a long time if it goes on like that.
sorry for the long post! I had to get rid of that....

it really doesn't matter what the limit is or the 'rule' is. if your SA offers you only 1 per year, then that is your reality. other customer's reality may be 3 per season. the rules will always be guidelines, with exceptions sometimes being made. it isn't fair, but it is the way it is :-s it isn't like you telling your SA "well i can get one per season according to the rule" is going to inspire them to give you 2 per year :amuse:

Yes however sad it may be, that's the truth! :sad: My SA basically told me I have a few more months to go before I can request for one...:shucks::

True. Although Hermes has always had their guidelines, we all know it does not follow suit for every single client. Exceptions are always made usually
with store manager's approval. I heard one time a friend said that a client purchased TWO birkins in one store in a single day! And they were both in PINK! So how did that happen???? :confused1::confused1::confused1:

We all know it's the managers who tell the sales staff what they can and can't do. We all will have our own 'reality' of what actually is going on.
