You can sign up and not pay- but you'd have to pay the "guest" fees to rent the bags. I beleive you would still have access to the outlet though.

Not a member of BB or S. I can understand the concept, but I just for the life of me would not do it. My main reason is that i try to be careful about what I put inside my own bags, and you can never be sure of exactly what went into the borrowed bag before you put your stuff in there. What if someone had a cold and stuffed their used tissue in there? God forbid. Or a pack of cigs...the smell you cannot get out.

yeah it really baffled me in SATC when carrie was like, how does a girl living in an apt with 6 other girls afford to carry a LV? and jen hudson was like, i rent from BBS...but to rent a LV it's hundreds a week...just renting for like 3-4 weeks can get her a real LV to keep...not worth it to rent when if you're vigilant you can get a real one to keep..

It would be worth it to me only to rent a bag to wear to a certain occasion. Like if I wanted something really special to wear to a movie premier or something. But if you rent the bags that I would rent for more than a few weeks, you could buy your own!

I believe you can buy, you just need to create a user name/password. I know a few people that have never rented bags from them, but regularly browse the outlet for never carried bags -they can post some deals.

I have a bag in my cart right now that i'm debating....haven't decided if I really want it or not. I did a few months ago, but now I have my eye on something else. :shrugs:
