i would rather own my bags than rent them. seems weird to me. if they rent bags for $200+ a month then why not just buy a moderately priced bag instead for the same amount of money? i don't have any desire to always be seen with a new bag. if i like the particular design of a bag i will continue to use the same one (maybe get different colors).

Hello have anyone ever used bag borrow or steal? If so who has stolen the bags?
Any idea what prices they give for bags you want to keep?
just curious..let me know please..im thinking of borrowing then stealing but if there is more then 30% off id keep EVERYTHING otherwise no point!:heart:

I did it for awhile a couple of years ago. Got frustrated because the bags I wanted were always loaned out & anything I wanted to steal, wasn't eligible to be stolen.
Maybe it's better now.

no problem..im also curious..because if the bags are in great condition as thye say...i dont mind spending the extra 100 and borrowing and then stealing the bag i love! but whats their percent? i know its diff on every bag and you can steal a vintage! but besides thati hav emy eye on 2! at least!!!!!! anyone ever steal? and im not talking about their outlet which has NOTHING.

Ive checked out the uk version in the past, when i looked on their sale section they had two handbags that i actualy owned. The original prices quoted for BOTH handbags were incorrect!! they had marked them up!!! therefore the 'selling' price for atleast one of them was more then i actully paid for and i purchased mine brand new from the boutique!!

I called them to inquire about "stealing a bag". The person I spoke with said that they will not quote a price to steal over the phone. You have to "borrow" the bag, & then you will be able to get a price for the bag you have. They also told me that when you receive a bag, it comes with the tags & dust cover in case you want to purchase it. I inquired about the vintage, & they are not available for purchase. The Chanel vintage xl flaps are over $286./week for renting or $840. a month. I wish I could afford that.

thats why id rather steal them...but i actually CHATED with a rep and she said the same thing. exactly to the T!
