And more pics! for some reason the mobile site won't let me upload the other pics! But there isn't really a clear pic of the engraving. But I was wondering if cartier even had this model or is this like a custom piece? She said she got it from her jeweler in france. Thanks again:)
I haven't seen this before either. I've sold a few Cartier Love rings. I can't see the engraving properly but I think that the quality of the bracelet is high. It looks like silk to me.

I bought this Cartier Love bracelet:

https://www.therealreal.com/product...lry/bracelets/cartier-diamond-love-bracelet-7

and was very excited to receive it. However, after I unpacked the box I noticed that there were two authentication cards in the box. One was stamped from the Cartier US e-boutique with the date stamped on the certificate and a sticker with the serial number on it. The other was not filled in at all but was stamped from Cartier in Cozumel Mexico. This made me look at the bracelet more closely and now I'm wondering if it's authentic. The screws seem a bit too close to the join and the symbol engraved in the box (one diamond space away from the serial number) is inside a rectangle not a diamond but its possible this is okay? It's the new style screw system and I'm new to buying Cartier so just want to be sure.

Could you please look at the attached photos (it actually looks much better IRL) and let me know what you think? I'm thrilled if it's real because I think I got it at a great price but not so thrilled, of course, if it's not. I can take it to Cartier in a couple of week for the definitive answer but would prefer to handle this quickly if its easy to tell that it isn't real. Thanks!

These "Love" bracelets have been made for many years and there are numerous differences between those of different ages. There is not much to go on here but the diamonds look well matched. I doubt a fake would have attractive stones.

Thanks so much for looking! The bracelet certificate indicates that it was purchased in 2011 if that helps. The one that's filled out anyway. Also, I don't know if it helps but if it's difficult to see the markings on the inside of the bracelet you can magnify it by running your cursor over that portion of the photo. Thanks again!

Hi, Do you think this is real? Also, why do some Peretti hallmarks look like a signature and some are typed (or a font)?
TIFFANY & CO Elsa Peretti 18kt GOLD Open Heart Pendant n 16" Chain Ret=$895
item#: 151519517380

Thanks a bunch!
I wouldn't hesitate to buy this. These pieces have been made over a great number of years - maybe 40 in this case. Small things have been changed over the years like the font and the way things are signed. They used typed font for a period. I have sold a few of these and have had both signatures. Remember, with pieces that have been produced over a long time little things might have changed but the only thing that never changes is the quality. If the piece looks awful but has the correct signatures you should be way more suspicious than if it looks amazing but has the "correct" signature.

That's terrific advice. Thank you!

Ah, I see. One of my good friends has been a Tiffany's enthusiast for 13+ years and said the box is fake when I showed her the Poshmark link before she left for vacation out of the country. Also, according to the seller, Tiffany's gave her the box and pouch when she took it in to get cleaned..which means they gave her an old box? The ring looks like it has been polished fairly recently. The story doesn't match up. Thank you for your help though!
Hi there.

OK first things first - I work for Tiffany and here's what I can tell you. I showed the box to my old supervisor and she said that she has worked at Tiffany for 25 years and has never seen a shiny box. To her knowledge, Tiffany boxes have not changed their iconic design in at least 50 years. Secondly, I can tell you that Tiffany NEVER give out boxes after a cleaning. Pouches, yes, but you can't even BUY a Tiffany box no matter how much money you have. Tiffany boxes are only ever given to customers at the point of sale of an item. So if your seller is telling you that the box was given to her after a cleaning she's not being honest. I can't see enough of the ring to say for certain but that box is 100 per cent fake.
