The Olive Leaf ring I'm pretty sure is real, but I just wanted to confirm that engraving that is rubbed off is something that happens with Tiffany's rings since my other pieces have never been rubbed off. As for the curved ring, I've seen the real version and the edges are a bit more rounded and the ring overall is a bit thicker (or chubbier, if that makes any sense). The metal of the curved ring doesn't exhibit the normal scratching I've seen on all of my Tiffany pieces (my necklaces scratch easily even when I take very good care of them). When I said "clearly fake," I was mentioning to the box that was included. I have attached a photo of the box and the pouch that the seller said she received when she took the ring in to get cleaned at Tiffany's.

I also want to mention that the zig zag ring is replicated quite easily with all of the engraving: http://www.alsogifts.com/tiffany-co...g-p-518.html?zenid=teguk5flsn1lqusd30strerpg3
The box isn't fake - it's old. People often think they are fake because they don't recognise them. The embossed boxes are relatively new. Before that Tiffany & Co. boxes were shiny. I would imagine the curved ring has been polished?

Ah, I see. One of my good friends has been a Tiffany's enthusiast for 13+ years and said the box is fake when I showed her the Poshmark link before she left for vacation out of the country. Also, according to the seller, Tiffany's gave her the box and pouch when she took it in to get cleaned..which means they gave her an old box? The ring looks like it has been polished fairly recently. The story doesn't match up. Thank you for your help though!

What you mean by the real version is the newest version. You've got to remember that these rings have been produced for years. The design changes subtly. That why the first question is always "is the workmanship of Tiffany quality?" The older versions, like yours are sharper. They also have Tiffany & Co written in full in the older style font. Your ring would have come in the exact box that is pictured. I think your vendor is honest and you could be undermining their livelihood by making unsubstantiated accusations.

Is the box shiny or embossed? It looks shiny to me. 13 yrs ago isn't long enough to know all the box styles ;-)

It's shiny! Well she has the same exact ring and bought it about 10 years ago..so she would know what packaging it came in.
The ring has been made for around 25 yrs, maybe longer. Judging by the typeface your is one of the older versions. It would therefore have come with the shiny box. I thought the vendor said the pouch came with the cleaning - that is what normally happens. Perhaps the box is the original box then?

can anyone please authenticate these two Cartier love rings? They're gifts and I'm not very knowledgable on these at all--especially with there being so many variations in the inner markings. I'd really appreciate it.

Thank you very much. If these are not authentic and anyone can point me in the direction of reputable sellers of used Cartier rings, it'd be much appreciated.

Hey there,

My friend got a watch from ebay and was wondering if it was authentic. Pictures are below.

Thank you so much in advance. Please let me know if you need more or better photos to authenticate. I don't know much about bvlgari watches.

And more pics! for some reason the mobile site won't let me upload the other pics! But there isn't really a clear pic of the engraving. But I was wondering if cartier even had this model or is this like a custom piece? She said she got it from her jeweler in france. Thanks again:)

i have bought this chrome heart necklace which i think is a fake.
there is no chrome hearts engraving on the pendant as seen in the picture. from the websites i've seen, there should be a chrome hearts engraving at the bottom of the pendant. however, seller mention that as this is the smaller version of the pendant, there isn't.

next is, as seen on the picture of the chain. its missing several C and C H.
and the alignment is also different. from what i know chrome hearts pride itself on perfection. there shouldn't be missing letters on the engraving.

i hope someone can help me authenticate this.

Hi
I don't see anything wrong with these, though the fakes are usually very good in photos! I'd say they are both fine. I can't recommend my own items here unfortunately!

I have sold a couple of these. Without seeing inside it is hard but what I would say is that the finish looks good. Things like how the screws sit can be tell tale. This looks like a well engineered piece to me. I think it's OK!
