I'm thinking this is not authentic, am I right?

This is a difficult one because you'd want to see the designer's stamp on all the charms. I only own the bracelets, so don't know about what the clasp should look like for the necklaces, but Im thinking they should look like those of the bracelets.

Try looking on the website to see examples of the clasps.

Good luck!

What are the red flags?

The first flag was resolved. I got to see the .925 on the ring of the lobster clasp via a picture from the seller. The other was that I always assumed that the heart should be on the other side of the clasp. Finally, I hadn't see that T&Co written on the loop of the heart. I bought charm from a Tiffany store recently and it had an inscription on the loop, albeit different, so I guess anything is possible!

Hi everyone! I was searching for the discontinued Paloma Picasso zig zag ring and found one on Poshmark: https://poshmark.com/listing/authentic-zigzag-TIFFANY-ring-size-412-548ccfece9895545c11d1312

I'm not 100% it's authentic, but made an unwise decision and purchased it anyway. The seller said she bought it from another website like Poshmark and included a fake (she did not say it was fake, but it is clearly fake to me) box and pouch that she said she received when she went to get the ring cleaned (she has 3 of these rings). This is the original posting with the 3 rings, although she did change the photos: https://poshmark.com/listing/Tiffany-com-zigzag-rings-size-412-548ca477b94475054c01e61f

I also purchased the Paloma Picasso Olive Leaf Ring here: https://poshmark.com/listing/Tiffany-Co-Sterling-Silver-Ring-Sz-5-54863b0917b8c2746e02d3bb

The box, pouch, and receipt look real to me, but the engraving where it is supposed to say "AG 925" is missing the 5. Is it possible that the 5 could have rubbed off? I've held the actual ring in store in person and looked at the engraving and it is very VERY small. Sorry for the horrible photo of the close up engraving, it's hard to take a photo.

Please let me know what you all think. I have until tomorrow to release payment or open a case for the curved ring and the Olive Leaf Ring, today. Pretty sure it's real though, there seems to be tarnishing on the metal of the Olive Leaf Ring.

Thank you all!

I'm not sure what you think is clearly fake here. The biggest thing about Tiffany is the workmanship, sure the marks help authenticate the piece but without the workmanship the marks mean nothing. With the marks rubbed off the piece can still be obviously Tiffany & Co. Both these pieces exhibit high quality workmanship. Even if I couldn't see the marks I'd say they were both genuine.

The Olive Leaf ring I'm pretty sure is real, but I just wanted to confirm that engraving that is rubbed off is something that happens with Tiffany's rings since my other pieces have never been rubbed off. As for the curved ring, I've seen the real version and the edges are a bit more rounded and the ring overall is a bit thicker (or chubbier, if that makes any sense). The metal of the curved ring doesn't exhibit the normal scratching I've seen on all of my Tiffany pieces (my necklaces scratch easily even when I take very good care of them). When I said "clearly fake," I was mentioning to the box that was included. I have attached a photo of the box and the pouch that the seller said she received when she took the ring in to get cleaned at Tiffany's.

I also want to mention that the zig zag ring is replicated quite easily with all of the engraving: http://www.alsogifts.com/tiffany-co...g-p-518.html?zenid=teguk5flsn1lqusd30strerpg3
