Hello everyone,

I'm new to PF so forgive me if I don't follow the rules correctly. I'm seeking for advice from a pair of Tiffany earrings I purchased.

Recently I purchased a pair of Tiffany Paloma Picasso Loving Heart earrings (in Platinum w/diamonds) from Yoogi's Closet, a reputable reseller who seems to be recommended by everyone. I'm still waiting for the shipment from UPS. This weekend I was over in Tiffany & Co. and wanted to check out the same earrings to see how much they go for retail. However, after talking to the sales rep and customer service, they said Tiffany doesn't make anything in platinum for the Paloma Picasso collection. Also, the Loving Heart earrings that I saw at Tiffany it has a clip that goes into the post where the one I purchased from Yoogi, there's an independent back piece that goes into the post.

Should I be concern that the earrings are not authentic? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Here's the link of the item from Yoogi's Closet: http://www.yoogiscloset.com/tiffany...aloma-picasso-loving-heart-stud-earrings.html

Thanks everyone!

I don't see anything wrong with this necklace, to me- it looks good. The UK marking does seem a little close to the Tiffany engravings but I don't see any red flags with it.

Thank you. I spent all week looking at the pics given by a seller on ebay, examining it from every angle, comparing it with the real ones and not to mention reading about how to spot a fake etc etc. I did my homework. Pheww...good to know someone agreed with me. Thank you so much :p

Paid $160 incl. delivery for the piece...yayyy so happy :p
:roflmfao::D;):p:cool::smile1:

Hi.
Would an expert on Tiffany jewelry be able to tell me if the following item is authentic? I see many ebay sellers selling Tiffany jewelry, but I am confused as to why they would sell so many Tiffany items at a loss (because as far as I know, Tiffany does not have sales, so in order to obtain authentic pieces, they would have needed to pay full retail price). This particular seller, rockren50, has sold at least a couple of the same Tiffany & Co. Atlas Circle Stud Earrings in the past, too. Thanks in advance!

item number: I'm not sure where to find it. Can someone please tell me?

The Atlas earrings in question have been relisted several times- and sold- but the seller continues to use the same listing and pictures each time. I hesitate to buy from sellers who reuse pictures over and over. You aren’t seeing the actual item you are bidding on. I am skeptical over the listing. Since the seller has sold these earrings several times, it doesn’t make sense to have purchased three to four pairs of the same earring from Tiffany (along with all of the other items listed that have also been sold over and over) and sell them for substantially less. The earrings in the pictures look good to me but since the pictures have been used over and over, I highly doubt this is the pair you would receive if you bid and won.

Thanks everyone!

Paloma Picasso has not worked in platinum for several years but did at one point. She didn’t have a large selection in platinum but did a handful of pieces. These earrings were offered in a post like the one’s in the Yoogi's photo and also a clip post. I would need to see closer pictures of the markings to say if they are authentic but I don’t see any red flags right now by looking at them.

THANK YOU in advance for your time and knowledge!
Ideally, its always good to see the markings as close as possible but everything I see looks good to me. The markings and placement are correct for this piece. Definitely a very nice pair of vintage arrings.

I had a chance to purchase these (saw them in newly listed items), but I passed. I thought they looked fake. I noticed that one of those eBay tiffany resellers (with their private ID's), purchased them. Are these real or fake:

I remember Sadie saying the bow design is highly faked and to me, they looked "off". The packaging looks real, but idk about the actual necklace...

The picture is not the best, its blurry and not clear. Without seeing the back, I would not be able to say for certain. I do see one area that concerns me but it could be the picture quality and I don't want to say its fake (or authentic) unless I know for certain.
