Hi. I've been trying to get someone's opinion on the authenticity of this Cartier mini love ring for a couple days now. It comes with the certificate of authenticity and it looks like it was purchased in Hong Kong (which makes me a little skeptical but I do not see any red flags). The seller said that one section of the band is a little thinner from polishing and a rep at Cartier confirmed that could happen if polished too much. Also, they said they no longer checking for authenticity. Have any of you taken a piece there recently and had it checked? Thanks for your help!!

Thanks!

Anybody? :shame:

Hello everyone!

Im never on the Chanel or jewelry forum. But i randomly came across this vintage watch, & for whatever reason i have a good feeling about it. I've been wrong many times before though.

I'm hoping to get any info on this estate "Chanel" watch that i found listed for sale locally (1.5 hours driving time away from where I live). I have very minimal info about it & have not seen it for myself as of yet. Trying to determine if its worth the 3 hour total road trip or not to make an appt to see it. Unfortunately the pictures that were provided aren't that great of quality either.

Here is the description I was given...
"Ladies Chanel wristwatch . There is one clear stone missing around the face of the watch. I do not know what type of stones surround the watch. It says Chanel on the clasp and "L" on the other end for large I assume. says 1987 on the back, along with other numbers . It says Chanel on the black face and Swiss on the face also.Very nice, black leather and gold chain band. Please call xxxxx for appointment to see this. NOTE: Watch works but there is no battery in it right now."

Also, I did some basic research online & wasn't able to locate a similar watch that had stones around the face? The original owner of the watch has since passed away, so I'm not able to get ahold of any accurate info on where/when it was purchased.

Any advice?

Please and Thank You!!!

Please authenticate Tiffany bead necklace, I have some concerns and would like second opinion - not sure if this is fake or an older version of the necklace: 1. The chain is reinforced (looks like one in bead bracelets), I have seen single chain in necklaces before not this twisted kind, 2. 53 beads not 55, 3. does not look graduated - 10 beads of smallest size, then 6 of slightly larger size and so on increasing in size 4 , 3, 2, and 1 the largest in the middle:

I'm not sure if this is the area to post this, because Purse Forum is HUGE. ;)

I've looked online for these, and the only place I can find them are sites that don't look like they sell authentic Chanel items. As for the name, are they called the Chanel Boucles Earrings? I'm not sure, which might be the reason why I cannot find them online...

Anywho, I'm interested in finding the earrings and the matching necklace... so if anyone knows the name or where to find them, please let me know. :)

I know Oakgem is a pretty trusted dealer but I would love a second opinion on the authentication of this ring. Also, when did Cartier change the classic trinity from 3.5mm to 4mm? Mine was listed as 3.5mm. I'll post the pictures below, thanks for looking!

The graduated bead necklace has varied over the years. This looks authentic to me, I don't see anything wrong with it.

Hello, I'm new to this. I was wondering if someone could help me authenticate this item I bought from a seller on ebay. Thanks!

Diamond rings are one of the few things you can't say for certian, if its real or fake, through pictures alone. The diamond is laser inscribed with a serial number that will match the Tiffany paperwork which is the real indicator if the diamond is in fact truely authentic Tiffany. The inscription is very small, a special tool is needed to see it.

i've got tiffany horseshoe necklace and would like to confirm its authentic please. i bought it from http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/140913905698?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 and took my photos now. it appears tiffany had changed the markings on this style of necklace? as other listings on ebay have the horseshoe (same one in platinum) marked differently. ex: http://www.ebay.com/itm/TIFFANY-CO-...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 and http://www.ebay.com/itm/STUNNING-Au...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 and http://www.ebay.com/itm/TIFFANY-CO-...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557. my photos are here and i thank you very much in advance for your expertise and your time! the lock appears to have 950 stamp as well, but it is very hard to see or photograph.

Markings have changed on this piece. Can you post a picture of the back of the horseshoe? I would like to see how the diamonds are set from the back. The markings that I see on the side seem off, they should be more centered. If you are able to get a close up- as close as possible- of the side where the Tiffany hallmark is, it would be helpful.

Here is a link to the listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/221186424402?redirect=mobile

I am going to try to return it. Could you please let me know what doesn't look right? Thanks again!

I apologize for the delay in responding. I had a family emergency with my mother and have not been online much over the past week.

The center of the bow, where the bow 'ties' didn't look right. There is also an area where the design doesn't transition smoothly as it goes from one area to the next. I see the necklace is photographed with a receipt but I would never use that to authenticate something. Its easy to take packaging that one may have received from buying something at Tiffany and use it to sell an item and make it seem more ‘real’ by using it in the listing.
