i bought this star necklace from https://www.coutureusa.com/p-9363-tiffany-co-sterling-silver-star-lariat-necklace.aspx and would like to confirm its authentic before i remove the security tag. the only mark i see is on the small star next to the lock which is not easy to take a photo off. :-( (and pls excuse my PJs, but I could not wait....) :-)

Looks authentic to me. This piece was only marked on the star and it was an abbreviated marking. What I see looks good and as it should be.

It would be good to see the front of the bow in a clear shot, just to be sure. This piece is only stamped on the small tag next to the spring clasp closure. I don't see anything that stands out as a flag but a clearer photo will help to say for sure.

I purchased this necklace used and would appreciate any comments regarding its authenticity. There does seem to be a tiny flaw or pitting in the silver just below the center of the bow. I am hoping that this is just from it being used and not because it is a cheaply made fake. lol The chain markings seem to be ok. Should the bow have any hallmarks or identifying marks on it? I've never actually seen one in the store, so I thought it would be a good idea to double check. Thank you SO much!!!

Some of the 1837 locks are functional locks, some aren’t. It depends on when it was purchased originally. When this lock first came out, it was a functional lock and would open and close. In recent years, there is a closed lock that does not open. Looks authentic to me.

Hello all, hopefully someone can help, I just bought this:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110973102714

Stupidly I didn't read the description fully- the authentication letter doesn't come with it, and the padlock doesn't open which worries me slightly. On the plus side the seller seems to have lots of good feedback.

Any help or advice is much appreciated, this is a fabulous resource!

Hi
I cant seem to find anything on the net to veryify if any vintage Tiffany open hearts do NOT have the designer's signature on it. Can anyone assist me with authenticating the attatched pendant photo within the next few hours?
