Hi again everyone...this is the last one for today...I promise. :) I purchased this necklace off eBay to go with the ring that I have. I would really appreciate some help authenticating this one. It was hard to get good pictures since the necklace is so small, so if you need better ones, just let me know and I will try again. The seller stated that she purchased it herself directly from Tiffany. Does this look right? None of my other pieces have "ag" before the 925 so I am not sure about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!! :)

Looks authentic to me. Sometime in mid 2011 , Tiffany started stamping some silver pieces with 'AG' in addition to the 925. AG is the abbreviation for silver from the periodic table of elements.

Sadie, would you be willing to give me a hand with this? One of the pieces I have never been sure on because I had never owned (until today) was the 1837 wide cuff. I received this one this morning and to be honest I don't think it's authentic but as I've never had one I'd like your opinion if you're willing to give it. I've weighed it and it comes up short at around 61 grams. The marking on the inside looks incorrect to me, but I don't know if this has changed with time and I know this design has been available a while. I'm a little concerned about the front engravings, I feel they should be thicker.

I don't mind looking the bracelet over, no problem. With this piece, there are two important shots I would need to see. Place the bracelet flat on the table, and then take a photo of the top of the bracelet, as you look down at it. It’s the top rim that is important to see. The second picture would be the wrist opening. When this piece first came out, it was about 85 grams. It also was sold in one size originally. It later came out in a smaller size. The smaller size did weigh less but I honestly don’t remember the weight. This piece really didn’t change much over time. The stamps on the front and placement of the hallmark stamp didn’t change. Looking at the pictures, the signature on the back looks the way it should. The hallmark stamp on this piece was never big, it was small and in the center. Nothing stands out as a flag with it, imo but with two additional pictures will help in saying for certain.

If you buy this piece, you could always post your pictures here. Some general things to look for- look at the round links and make sure none are pinched together. They should all be closed. There will be evidence of when the links joined but no open link. The piece should have a little weight to it. Make sure the stamps on the oval tag are neat and clean. The oval should have a slight curve to it. Follow your gut feeling when you see it and ask if they have a return policy just in case.

Private sale off a local resale group.

Is this authentic? Are there markings I should be looking for when I go to see it in person? Thank you!

Its definitely real. The hallmarks may look 'off' because this is a vintage piece. Vintage pieces were stamped this way, the stamp is not as neat and refined as the pieces today are. You really can't compare the stamps of today to the stamps from 20 years ago, if you do, then yes, they will look off and very different. Tiffany also used 585 then, not 750 for gold that they use today. This piece is at least 20 years old. Everything I see looks exactly as it should for this time frame. Maybe some others here will also give an opinion, but I would be confident buying it.

Is this 14K Tiffany bracelet genuine? I'm looking to upgrade my collection and do like this piece, but the hallmarks differ in sequence compared to the recent (US-based) Tiffany bracelet Sadie looked at:
