Cute bag. Try to wipe over the embossing lightly with some baby powder or light color powdered eye shadow on you finger to help make the embossing more visable and for photos

Wow! I never heard of that but it helped a lot! I still can't make out the complete number but the style number is not 9893 so it is not a scooter bag.

The serial number appears to read: No. M4N 4?5?; here's the best pic I could get. Do any of the authentication gurus have any ideas? The bag appears genuine to me, but if it is a fake, I'd like to know, thanks! Please see posts 6263 and 6264 for additional pictures.
The dimension of the bag are 8 x 5.5 x 2.5 inches

The listing appears to have been removed.

If it was anything like this one that sold for $101, it's a good thing it was pulled:

Does anyone know Gucci?

I tried a different (non-shimmer) light eye shadow and I think that the first digit is a 9 - so it may be a scooter 9893. The numbers are just so darn faint and impossible to read! The drop of the strap is around 23 inches so that also fits a scooter, too. Help! :confused1:

It looks (to me) like M4N-4154 which is on "the list."

I have to agree. The Coach lozenge and font on the creed don't look right either, and the "a" in "scratches" seems to be missing. "Markings" shouldn't be divided between two lines of text, and it looks like there's an X in "markings" instead of a K but that could just be a trick of the light.

Sorry.

Thank you both so much - I'd rather know what I've got!

Thanks - I misread that the first couple of times I read that post - ah ha, they went to 2 digits in the first set in 2004 ( I thought they moved to two digits in 2000). Thanks for clearing that up for me. Here I thought I had it all figured out on my own. Either way its a great little bag for 99 cents.
