The first group of letters/numbers are just the Month, Year and Factory Code that Coach uses. So those bags were made in different months and different years.

The second group of numbers are the "Style Number" of the bag. All the same bags will have the same style number but may have different months and years of manufacture.

I'm not familiar with that bag, so wait for other opinions on authenticity.

DemRam, Thank you, i didnt know that about the creed #'s !!!:D

You're welcome! Just be sure and check back to make sure it's authentic. I'm totally clueless about any newer Coach items.

;)

Got these cheap on a whim but I'm thinkin' they're not genuine. There are no "made in China" stamps that I'm used to on fobs and the lozenge is rather large. Anyone know jewelry?

They're fake. There are several things wrong with these including the Coach imprint on the lozenge and the shape of the T closure. The materials are cheap. If you bought these from Bonanzle seller poshpurgatory, please try to get your money back asap. That seller/scammer is also selling these fakes on ioffer:

There is also currently another Bonanzle seller selling these fakes using the ioffer picture.

Got another one on my watch list:

Item: Coach Monogram Satchel Purse-Brown
Listing: 110583399278
Seller: 2unpredictable
Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/Coach-Monogram-...278?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item19bf48c36e
Comment: Kindly authenticate again pls? Thanks!

Don't ever even consider bidding on any bag unless the seller supplies clear large photos of the inside of the bag and especially the creed patch. I'm not familiar with most of the newer bags but the fact that the C pattern isn't correctly centered on the front of the bag is never a good sign when it's an Op Art or a standard Signature C pattern.

More opinions are needed but the zipper pulls and the feet on the base look wrong and the leather looks cheap.

Thanks Hyacinth. This bag was removed by the seller for whatever reason, I don't know. Maybe she's scared that someone might report ebay that she's selling a fake. The other bag (black) has ended few hours ago and I didn't bid as I wasn't really sure if it's authentic or not.

Thanks so much. God bless! I will post the bags that I'm currently watching atm. Thank you again.

The listing was actually removed by ebay (not the seller) because the bag was fake.

Item: Brown Coach Bag

Comments: The seller gave me a style # of M0693-10787 which I don't see anywhere online. It has to be fake I'm thinking, she also said the striped lining is only in the bottom of the bag? Any thoughts? I know the pic isn't the best, sorry.

I don't see anything in the one picture that indicates that the bag is fake but in order to determine authenticity, there should be many more pictures of the bag, including pictures of the front, back, bottom, inside and a closeup of the creed. Seeing more pictures will also help to check out the condition of the bag (any stains, marks, signs of wear, etc.). IMO, judging from the one picture, the bag doesn't look like it's in that great shape.

Hi there, was hoping someone could tell me why these two exact legacy bags have the same last 4 numbers but the first 4 numbers are different. on one we have L05k-7458 and on the next we have B06k-7458.......I just bought one in brown, on ebay, with the B06k #. very confused by this. also, im not sure if i pasted these links correctly. any feedback would be greatly appreciated, as im hoping I didnt buy a fake! thanks so much!

The bags in the listings above all look good. DemRam answered your question on the serial number. The bag with serial number L05K-7458 was made in November 2005. The bag with serial number B06K-7458 was made in February 2006. And your bag with serial number B06K-7458 was also made in February 2006. The pictures of the bag you bought looks fine, but when buying on ebay (or elsewhere) it's always a good idea to see a clear, closeup picture of the creed.

Welcome to tPF! For future authenticity requests, please use the format in Post #1, as this makes it easier to search for items and sellers. Thanks!

Thanks, Starry. It was an impulse purchase, dangit, and I know better. That's exactly who I got them from. Grrrr.

Item: COACH (AUTHENTIC) LEG SIGNATURE SLIM ENVELOPE WALLET
Listing number: 160478117335
Seller: momsell4tuition
Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160478117335&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Hi there! I just won this on eBay this morning. I have not paid for it cause I wanted to check with you ladies first. Please let me know :) Thanks in advance!

Looking at the seller's other items, the seller appears to purchase from the outlet.

The 4th, 5th, and 6th pictures have different lighting from the first three pictures (though the background appears to be the same). Wallets are hard to authenticate from pictures, and when some pictures appear to have inconsistencies it causes me to scrutinize the listing more carefully.

I would say that based on the seller's prior sales that the wallet is probably ok, though more detailed pictures of the wallet would be helpful. More opinions are welcome.

I had this same bag in pink until it was stolen so despite the one pic I am pretty sure but still want to be "really sure" this is authentic.

Item: Coach shoulder purse bag
Item: 110583426333
Seller: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110583426333&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

I paid over 100 for my previous so if this is real than I got a great deal. Thank you!!!!

I don't see any obvious red flags, but there needs to be more pictures of the bag to determine authenticity and also to note the condition of the bag.

It appears to be style 42835, a Signature Pleated Swingpack. I don't think this style has a creed.
