Comments: The seller gave me a style # of M0693-10787 which I don't see anywhere online. It has to be fake I'm thinking, she also said the striped lining is only in the bottom of the bag? Any thoughts? I know the pic isn't the best, sorry.

I would definitely get the opinions of the experts here (and maybe ask the seller for more pics), but I don't think that is a fake. Style #10787 is the Maude Ergo Tote. It is super big! It is also very rare, which is probably why you couldn't find it online. Here are some pics (bottom of page 2 of this thread)...http://forum.purseblog.com/coach/so-how-big-is-it-125043-2.html

Don't ever even consider bidding on any bag unless the seller supplies clear large photos of the inside of the bag and especially the creed patch. I'm not familiar with most of the newer bags but the fact that the C pattern isn't correctly centered on the front of the bag is never a good sign when it's an Op Art or a standard Signature C pattern.

More opinions are needed but the zipper pulls and the feet on the base look wrong and the leather looks cheap.

Thanks Hyacinth. This bag was removed by the seller for whatever reason, I don't know. Maybe she's scared that someone might report ebay that she's selling a fake. The other bag (black) has ended few hours ago and I didn't bid as I wasn't really sure if it's authentic or not.

Thanks so much. God bless! I will post the bags that I'm currently watching atm. Thank you again.

Definitely ask the seller for more pictures. At the minimum, pictures of both sides of the bag, the inside, and a close-up, clear picture of the creed.

Got these cheap on a whim but I'm thinkin' they're not genuine. There are no "made in China" stamps that I'm used to on fobs and the lozenge is rather large. Anyone know jewelry?

Just by judging on the font used for the lozenge, I'm going to say fake. I'm not an expert on jewelry, so wait for someone who knows jewelry to give an opinion.

There certainly should be more pictures to confirm authenticity but there are no red flags in the single photo you've posted.

Just because an item cannot be found in a google search doesn't mean it's fake. There are many rare items that have never been listed on ebay, Bonanzle or discussed in any forum and unless pictures were posted somewhere, you won't find it in a search.

And the converse, just because an item does come up in a search doesn't prove that it's real. As just one example, search "Coach 6k13." While you'll find some hits for authentic wallets in that style, most will be fake.

This is Coach's stock picture of 10787:

I found this on the bay a few months back, buy the time I finished looking at the pics it sold! Has some great pics for reference. So it does exist.

Another sold recently for about $200 but it looked a little too worn for my tastes.

Got another one on my watch list:

The listing in question wasn't removed by the seller. It was pulled by ebay as being deemed fake. (WHen a seller ends her own listing, you can still view it; it just shows as ended.)

And the black bag from seller akers0718 was also a bad fake. I'm glad you didn't bid on it.

Hi there, was hoping someone could tell me why these two exact legacy bags have the same last 4 numbers but the first 4 numbers are different. on one we have L05k-7458 and on the next we have B06k-7458.......I just bought one in brown, on ebay, with the B06k #. very confused by this. also, im not sure if i pasted these links correctly. any feedback would be greatly appreciated, as im hoping I didnt buy a fake! thanks so much!

The first group of letters/numbers are just the Month, Year and Factory Code that Coach uses. So those bags were made in different months and different years.

The second group of numbers are the "Style Number" of the bag. All the same bags will have the same style number but may have different months and years of manufacture.

I'm not familiar with that bag, so wait for other opinions on authenticity.
