COACH Solid Sterling Silver Bangle

Afternoon, Ladies. I would be most appreciative if someone could authenticate this for me. I want to give it away but I don't want to give away something fake. I bought it on ebay impulsively before getting it authenticated. Thanks!
Please wait for other opinions on this item because I'm not familiar with the actual bangle style.

I do know that Coach has made some sterling silver items, specifically a few styles of keychains, so it isn't unheard of that they'd also make sterling jewelry. I do believe they do it.

The bracelet looks like it might be style 94089, as pictured below.

Wait for DemRam and Hyacinth for authentication.

My comment is that the bag appears to be polished or dyed although there's no mention of it. Compare the dull finish shown in pics 11 and 12 (inside) to the glossy and darker exterior photos.

The bag's genuine but it's been recolored - the wording on the creed especially near the bottom is almost worn away, but there's no wear and tear, color fading or lightening, or any other signs of use on the flap and especially on the piping around the bottom of the bag? That's not normal, bags don't wear like that. And you can even see where the leather on the side panels of the bag has been stretched a bit from use.

Also, black Coaches always tended to fade and dull a bit with age unless they were conditioned frequently. Sometimes it's hard to tell if the original color is black or dark navy, so any time a classic Coach is shiny black like that, the color is probably artificial. And black piping on the bottom of that style bag will always show wear unless it's been re-touched.

thanks

Hard to say for sure with just one photo. But what bothers me - the dog-leash clip especially the part that's not in the photo, the two rings one on each side of the bag, the leather tab and what looks like an extra ring on the zipper pull. It doesn't look like anything I'm familiar with.

Yeah, that leather tab looked odd to me and I don't have any wristlets I could compare it too. So I'm glad I passed on it. thanks

Thank you. It is a lot to read but very interesting. I have always been too nervous to start my listings at 99 cents, because I can't afford to lose money. And I know people stay away from reserve auctions usually, plus you have to pay the reserve fee. So I start my auctions at the price I am willing to take, usually my break even + a few dollars in case I calculated it wrong. I don't get a lot of bids that way, and sometimes I have to list items several times, and I know that a lot of the time I would get more if I started it at 99 cents, but I am just not a risk taker.

Please look at these two listings, my question is below under comments...
#1

Comments: I am looking for some Coach Leather Sabrinas, to help my mom replace some lost in a flood. Since some of these are older, harder to find items, I am searching through eBay. My question for the request is both these listings are for "Patent Leather Sabrina Black) - the #2 bag is the one that looks like the original. the other listing appears to show a different strap (chain) - is it possible that Coach offered two different versions of the same handbag (strap)? It seems odd to me that Coach would re-issue a color in a different style. Are they both legit?

Also, is there a list anywhere of Sabrina's, and their model numbers/colors? If I could get specific Creed numbers, it would help my search. I am not buying to re-sell, they are to keep - and do not mind purchasing a pre-owned in decent condition since they were bags she used often.

Thanks, from my mom and me!

I wondered whether vachetta could be black too. I originally thought it was that light undyed tan leather (basically minimally processed) like LV's use for their handles, and Coach uses it that way sometimes too, but then I saw a listing for a black anniversary legacy bag that described it as vachetta leather. I was going to comment then, but then I looked up vachetta on the internet and I saw a site that was selling an entire collection of bags in all colors and calling them vachetta.
http://www.clava.com/signature-collections/colored-vachetta-collection.html
and
http://www.amazon.com/Clava-Vachetta-Leather-Work-Tote/dp/B0009LFWDU
So either this brand is misusing the name vachetta, or they dye vachetta leather. And they describe it as soft, and I thought it was usually stiff.

I saw that listing for the black Legacy bag that described it as vachetta leather. I think the seller got the names mixed up. The 2006 and 2007 Legacy bags use vegetable-tanned leather.

True vachetta is undyed and untreated leather.

1. Fake
2. Please wait for other opinions. I'm seeing red flags but I'd like another opinion
3. Fake

Fake
I had no idea fakes could be so convincing. I am planning to purchase a Sabrina, so (for my knowledge), how do you know this listing is fake? Did coach ever make this pattern in a Sabrina?

Thanks, Hyacinth. The more I looked at the bag, the more I knew something wasn't right. I appreciate you bringing it all into focus for me!
