I wondered whether vachetta could be black too. I originally thought it was that light undyed tan leather (basically minimally processed) like LV's use for their handles, and Coach uses it that way sometimes too, but then I saw a listing for a black anniversary legacy bag that described it as vachetta leather. I was going to comment then, but then I looked up vachetta on the internet and I saw a site that was selling an entire collection of bags in all colors and calling them vachetta.

So either this brand is misusing the name vachetta, or they dye vachetta leather. And they describe it as soft, and I thought it was usually stiff.

In my opinion, it seems real. The seller has sold a lot of Coach bags in the past and has high feedback. She has also had several bags authenticated on this forum and they were real. You can do a search for all posts with her id at the top of the page.
However, I am not an expert on authentication, so you should wait for the expert's opinions to be sure.
I have had a signature zoe and it is a really nice bag. But you can't tell for sure if you are going to like it until you try it out.

It looks ok. The color of the bag in the ebay pics is a bit off but I think it's because of the lighting. The additional pictures you posted shows the true color more accurately.

Ugh! There are several reasons why I wouldn't have recommended
cfl_motors.


1. There aren't enough pictures in the listing to determine authenticity.

If you haven't paid yet, please request a clear and legible photo of the creed from the seller.

2. I looked at the seller's other listing and all the pictures are stock photos from Coach's website. Sellers shouldn't be stealing copyrighted pictures.

Been Burned - thank you very much for your response. I almost paid via PayPal this morning but decided to post here first. I just emailed the seller asking for a picture of the Creed. I'll post it when I get it. I'm not sure how to even get out of purchasing this item since I am the winning bidder. I wonder what the consequences are in terms of my good feedback score.

Anyway, I'm so curious as to how you figured out the shill bidding with user jrue413.

I really appreciate you taking the time to give your opinion on this! :smile1:

Hey everyone. I was thinking of taking the plunge and getting my first Coach bag from a local seller on Craigslist. I asked one of my friends to take a look at it and she didn't recognize the style, so I wanted to find out if it's real... I am very much opposed to purchasing counterfeit bags and want to be careful!
