This is a medium size COACH bag, with a flap - magnate closure. It is well made, and I really like it, But, like I said in the first post... I'm just dieing to know if it's real because they were so inexpensive!
I really appreciate the help and feedback
Thanks!
~Abby

Correct me if I am wrong, I think the black one is fake - the creed says "wrinxles" and "marxings".

I'm pretty sure those are "K"s in the words. Sometimes the angle of the picture makes them appear to look like X.

Sorry, but the brown bag is fake. Coach bags aren't made in Korea and they don't have 5 digit serial numbers. The older bags had 7 digit serial numbers.

I'm not sure about the other 2 so definitely wait for other opinions on those.

This is a link to Hyacinth's "Authenticity Questions" that has a lot of great information.

Thank you for the reply! This is such a cool thing you all do.

I figured that this one was fake. I did a bit of research before I came across this site, and what I found about the creeds, and serial numbers didn't match up, like you said. But I had only been looking into it for a couple of hours, and you guys are the experts! So I thought I'd check to make sure :)

Is there something I should do about it, like informing coach? I'm sure the charity shop didn't know.

Thanks again!

Chances are that Coach won't do anything but if I were you, I'd take it back to the charity shop and get a refund.

Whether they knew it was fake or not, they were responsible for authenticating it before put it on the sales floor.

It's illegal to sell fakes, knowingly or not.

Please look at this Coach backpack. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWNX:IT

If link does not work it is ebay number 120569722574

I"m afraid I purchased this purse and I am almost certain now it is fake. However, I have been wrong before so I would appreciate hearing from you experts.

Here is the issue. The creed patch does not look right.

It says "Coach" and then "Leatherware" underneath. I own several Coaches and none of them have the word leatherware on the creed patch.

Also it has a suspicious serial number 90-518 and that's it. I can't find a match. This purse looks like a 6080. However this one does not have a leather bottom as the 6080 does; it just has the siggy fabric on the bottom. Could this be a different model? Thanks for your help.
