BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

I would hazard a guess that it is from 1976. That jives with our belief that creed numbers were used starting in the mid 70s, so maybe that started in 1977, now that we have "proof" of a 1976 bag without a number.

I'd love to see the inside of that catalog when you get a chance. There might be some styles I don't have in my files.

I've copied the 1981 Fall catalog and anything in the 1983 Fall catalog that wasn't in the 1981 book. They're saved at the main forum - Coach Reference Library - Coach Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and Reference Info - posts 200-204. Hope they help!

I am looking for the web address for finding stock photos from the Coach archives. There was the web address then after the / your would put the 5 digit style number and the stock photo would show. Anybody have this info pretty please?

OMG! I recognize that background. The seller has a LONG history on multiple IDs.

The bag is fake and the seller is NOT RECOMMENDED!!

BB, she's been doing this at Ebay and Etsy and probably other sites since at least 2011. I don';t think she gives a flying feck about "learning" unless it's learning how to hide her fakes better.

@chocolateolive and everyone else -
DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BUY ANYTHING FROM SELLER "GUTSYGIRLS" AT ETSY or DEBBIEB208 AT POSH OR EITHER OF THESE NAMES AT ANY WEBSITES, PERIOD. EACH ID HAS 6 PAGES OF POSTS HERE ASKING ABOUT AUTHENTICITY AND SHE PROBABLY HAS THE WORST RECORD FOR SELLING FAKE COACHES OF ANY SELLER WE'VE LOOKED AT IN THE LAST 10 YEARS.

We don't often say someone is Not Recommended but she's earned it. She just doesn't seem to GAS.

Just my opinion but based entirely on facts.
