Hello! Hopefully I'm posting correctly. Let me know if not.
I was wondering if y'all could help me authenticate a bag I recently acquired?

Item: Coach black and tan bag
Where purchased or how obtained: Consignment shop in NYC
Comments: I got this bag for a few bucks so wouldn't be surprised if it was fake. But some of the details are leading me to believe otherwise. Thinking it could've been a Sheridan bag because of the "Made in Italy" bit on the creed.
I just can't seem to find any similar styles via google searches. Any insight would be a big help.

Just FYI, photos of zipper brands saying YKK mean absolutely nothing, read the Signature in purple under every one of my posts.

It's genuine, but it's one of the very few bags from the Sheridan line for which we haven't found a name or number yet. All the details are correct, and it probably would have been made in 1992 or 1993 but that's all I have on file except for a handful of photos found about 3 years ago. "Some kind of Sheridan Hobo" will have to do unless someone has one that still has its original price tag or box that might include a name and style number. Here's a photo from that set:

Hi, I would really appreciate help authenticating one of the two Coach bags I purchased on Poshmark - thank you very much!

Item: Coach Molly Satchel
Listing number: N/A
Seller ID and site: Downtomarsalex, Poshmark
Link: https://poshmark.com/listing/COACH-Molly-Satchel-5ed96b9a3a0db98e96d1d8e3
Comments: I am grateful the seller provided very clear pictures of the creed! It says sold for $50, but I actually got it in a bundle for $35 shipped, which I think is an amazing price if it's authentic (it even has the dustbag). Thank you again!

Good morning! Could someone please take a look at this bag that I just purchased? Perhaps a bit of an impulse buy, but the colour (and the fact that it is shipped from Canada - yay no import fees) sucked me in.

Item: small shoulder bag?
Seller: foryo-92
Link: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/313227294161
Comments: Please let me know if the link does not work - I am not used to linking to sold ebay listings. Is this bag indeed from the mid-70's?

Thanks as always for your help!

It's genuine, probably a Small Shoulder Bag style 9530. Exact dates are almost impossible to pin down, but I'd guess it's from the late 1970s to early 1980s. Nice color too!

I would hazard a guess that it is from 1976. That jives with our belief that creed numbers were used starting in the mid 70s, so maybe that started in 1977, now that we have "proof" of a 1976 bag without a number.

I'd love to see the inside of that catalog when you get a chance. There might be some styles I don't have in my files.

It's an authentic classic pouch, also called classic shoulder bag, #9170. This style was made for many years so it is impossible to narrow down the date more than sometime between 1977 and 1988.

Visit the rehab club for pointers on how to fix those edges.
