Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number.   • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

It looks fine but I don't have the style number.

Although I don't see any problem listings currently, the seller has 2 IDs and both have had fake hang tag listings. (ETA: I also didn't go through nearly 1200 listings either. Personally, one of my pet peeves is sellers who dismember bags and remove hang tags and straps to sell separately.)

So, what is it we are all doing? Stress buying? Corona buying? For me, the past week has been pure impulse buying. My offer on this duffle sac was accepted but I have not paid yet.

It's genuine, made in 1999.

Just a quick word, since you're new to tPF - Poshmark has a very bad track record when it comes to spotting or removing fakes or refunding members who bought them. If you're determined to buy any highly faked brand from them, please have it authenticated here at tPF before buying.

@Hyacinth Thank you for the heads up about Poshmark! I'm also totally new to buying vintage coach, is there a thread where we can talk about things like whether a bag is a good deal?

Genuine, and a fairly old one since the side seams are in the "early" position.

She did cancel the request and came back and stated she realized it was fake. I think she reads the forum as she stated there were other problems with the bag. I told her about the other ones but will go back and refer her to the forum.
