They also had “rehabbed” purses that looked nothing like the awesome rehabs posted on the rehab thread. The purses were still dirty and smelly and they were charging over $595.00 for Willis, $495 for a Regina with no long strap. None of the purses had been dunked, shaped or conditioned and yet they were marketed as “restored”
Maybe they need an anonymous invitation to join TPF!

Hi, this is my first post. I've searched the threads, and can't find the specific info I'm looking for:
70’s Era Coach Court
Vintage Coach

https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m81569709700/
This bag is supposedly pre-1994, so doesn’t have the 9870 style number, but I could not find any information about the older Coach Court bags.

I'm not surprised that you couldn't find any information about 1970s-era Court Bags, since, not surprisingly, the seller is WAAAAAAY off on the date that bag was made. The Court Bag in the listing dates from 1989, which is when the Court Bag was first introduced by Coach. The seller is at least ten years off on the date. A word to the wise - don't expect the majority of Coach sellers to have any idea of how to determine the age of a vintage Coach bag. Below is a thumbnail of the Fall Preview 1989 catalog page where the Court Bag was first introduced, click on the thumbnail to open it.

The bag in the listing is genuine.

FAKE!! If you're the buyer, tell lulu_clothing_a you want to cancel.

And it wouldn't hurt to post that to the listing so others will know!

ETA: She also has this fake.

i thought maybe it was from the serial number?

The serial number is one of many common invalid serial numbers.

I want to keep reminding everyone here that we have a copy of both parts of the Daria48 Coach Fake Numbers List posted right here in the Coach Shopping forum and Pinned right to the top, in the same thread as the Salearea Guides and posted right behind them. It takes just a few minutes to check the List!
https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/salearea-guides.983575/page-3#post-33239557

Obviously not every fake number will be on the List but if I didn't think that it would be worth someone's time to check it before bidding or buying, I wouldn't have posted it.

And if searching the List isn't convenient, a simple Google search for "Coach 0444-315" would have brought up dozens of links and photos with similar information.
https://www.google.com/search?q=coach+0444-315&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

Even a quick glance at the dozen photos of totally different bags with the same all-numeric serial number at the top of the Google Search results should be a red flag. And there are Google links to posts right here at tPF going back to 2009 stating that that number is fake.

Using tPF's own Search link would have pointed in the same direction, with 72 posts about that number going back to 2008
https://forum.purseblog.com/search/10643248/?q=0444-315&t=post&o=date&c[node]=29+284+114+113+129:

Besides the known fake serial number, there are other problems with that bag too.

I REALLY hope you're not the buyer.
