Its definitely not in the lineup for Fall 11. I wont see spring collection until Oct/Nov, so I cant say yet as to Spring 12.

Hi, I've had this Tano for a very long time. I was stationed in Spain in the 80's so this bag has some sentimental value to me. Unfortunatley I did not purchase it from there but have acquired many years ago from a local estate sale. It was love at first sight. I was hoping you could shed some light on the history of this Tano, possibly the name and year. In the photos it will look very shinny. I have just conditioned it and have yet to wipe off the excess. The leather needs to be conditioned every 6 mos.or so because I have it displayed in my livingroom. My husband just doesn't get it, lol. Thanks for any info you mat have.

Wow that is a beautiful vintage Tano bag. My involvement with Tano started in 1994 so Im really not all that knowledgable about Tano bags prior to that, although I am familiar with the history. Judging by the boxy construction and the handmade hardware, I would guess that this bag is from the 1950's or 1960's. At that time all Tano bags were made in Spain or Italy. Thats really all I can tell you. Enjoy it!

Hi, was there a color called "rum"? in the Boogie Bucket? I can't find a pic on TPF. Is it comparable to Tano's caramel or another color?

Hello, I am new to the Purse Forum. I own a Tano Tumbleweed in Blue Velvet and I was looking for other available colors. ONly found a brown sugar and a volcanic ash one at Irv's Luggage and nothing at Must Have Bags. A google search didn't bring up anything else current. Can you tell me if this bag has been discontinued or is it just between seasons and colors?
