Hello, I've been lusting for a bag in tumbleweed leather for so long in secret but now I'd just like to know if The Eclectic (#4527) was ever popular? I can't find any mention of it for some reason, and I really like the look of it, but the lack of comments of it is slightly unsettling.

Thanks!

Hi There - I'm new to Tano, but not to TPF. ;)

I just happened upon various Tano bags on evil bay and I'm very intrigued! Can you tell me if the Chelsea blue color leans towards a teal or is it more of a light blue IRL?

Thanks much!

GEEZ, SORRY IVE BEEN MIA FOR A WHILE, GIRLS!

If that happened right away, I would return it to the store, but at this point it's well over 2 years old, so that's not an option.

Try applying some leather conditioner to the whole bag, more heavily on the faded panel. Try the conditioner first in a small unseen area before putting it all over your bag and wait 24 hours to check for any color effects.
HI TE,

I bought the orange (or I think it might be called apricot) Amanda Playwith at a sale at Mason's in January 2009. I used it all the time until I got a chocolate Speakeasy for Christmas 2009. Anyway, a few months after I got the Amanda I noticed that on one side of the bag, one of the "panels" I guess you would call them, was distinctly faded, softer, not as "crunchy" as the other three "panels" on the bag. I only noticed it after it had gotten a little dirty from everyday use, because it showed the dirt so much more than the other 3/4 of the bag. My friend commented that that particular piece of leather didn't look like it was "finished". I was just wondering if there's anything I could do to clean it or make it look shiny like the rest of the bag. If not I can just wear the not so good looking side against my body. I wish I could post a photo but I don't have a digital camera.

Thanks!

I bought this online last night, then this morning saw it in the store and discoverd a tano tag and labels! I was wondering what the name of this particular bag is and if it is only available at this store because I could not find it at any other stores and my recearch did not come through with results. Help? =]

I would have to say no, The Eclectic was NOT a popular style, beacause I've never even heard of it! LOL. Tano makes tons of bags each season and many of them are cut to order in very small quantities then dropped from the line. It may be one of those. It doesnt mean that its a bad bag, it just didnt sell well at Tano's trade show. If YOU love it, thats all that matters :)

TE...what is puree leather like (Reality Starlit is made of this)?

It looks similar to lux/crunch as in the pictures it looks shiney...but some like the pagoda look more matte....but I figured since it is a new leather for Tano...I should ask you!
