I just noticed bubbling of the canvas on my monogram Artsy made in USA the 24th week (June) of this year. I am heartbroken...again! This is my third monogram Artsy. I got it in July. Each one developed bubbling and peeling of the canvas. My SA has been great each time I've exchanged. She said they sell a lot of monogram Artsy. They have had only a few brought back with this issue. She said in July that I would have to choose a different style bag if this bag bubbled. Three of the same is usually the limit. I understand. I don't want to take my chances with another. But...I love this bag! I'm heartbroken! I don't like the Azur canvas and I've heard many complain of the empreinte being too heavy. What is a girl to do? My current purse collection is Tivoli GM, Speedy B 30 DE, and Batignolles Vertical. I will have a $2K credit. I'm not sure were to begin. I was content with my collection. I could add +$1K. Any suggestions?

Oh wow, I exchanged mine about 2 weeks ago and I haven't noticed anything yet. Mine was done in U.S. on the 29th week of this year. I will keep on checking. May I ask for how long you had it before you noticed the issue?
I have the empreint artsy and it is very heavy for daily use in my opinion. Maybe get credit and wait a few months until you find something you really like.
I think I got it around the 18th of July. I've had it only about 9 weeks. I haven't carried it everyday. I rotate my bags. Do you have the monogram as well as the empreinte Artsy?
I feel like I need to decide on another bag. If I get a credit and there is a price increase, I would loose money. I'm actually considering the Estrela NM Noir. It isn't a statement bag like the Artsy but I find it very attractive. I love totes. I am still thinking about the empreinte Artsy and even a Neverfull MM in monogram. I don't have a Neverfull and they are such a classic bag. Any thoughts?
I thought I was clear but seeing bubbling after 9 weeks makes me nervous. I had been using my new Artsy for the past 2 and a half weeks. Yes, I do have both, the mono and empreint artsy. The empreint is so beautiful but too heavy for daily wear. I looked at the Estrela but didn't quite like it. It looked pretty on display and all stuffed but I feel like its shape was not too nice, at least for me. I did buy the retiro noir and it is one of my favorites.
What are your thoughts on the tivoli?
I love my Tivoli. There is a lot of vachetta. I can't wear it with dark denim or on rainy days. It is more of a summer bag for me.
I notice that most of the bubbling on the Artsy is on one side. I always carry it with the "charm" away from my body. The bubbling is where it lays/rubs against me. The SA noticed too. She said that it shouldn't do that. My other bags don't do this.
When I got the last Artsy, my SA stressed that I needed to use the new bag. She knows I love it. But, she also wanted to make sure this bag didn't have the same problem. Oh well....I haven't texted her yet about this last bag. I'm still heart broken.
I'm stressing about finding a new bag I want. I don't want very much vachetta...a bag I can use with dark denim and on rainy days. I am considering the empreinte Artsy. It is beautiful but it doesn't scream LV like the monogram print.

I'm the one that started this thread, and have returned two Artsys because of peeling. Yesterday when I was at LV I looked at one (haven't looked at Artsy in Mono in months because I had given up on it), and the canvas felt so different from the two I returned. Not so rubbery and no signs of peeling or dust on it. I wonder if they finally have taken this seriously and made the improvements...I'm really thinking of taking the chance with the Artsy in Monogram again....

Hopefully they fixed the canvas issue! I would double check with the SA before purchasing just in case you do have another issue- I know LV gets ticked off with a lot of returns and you don't want to be "black listed". They'v done that to other members.
Last one I saw in the store was beautiful. I sold mine for the Metis hobo, but I think you could be brave and try again if you love the bag. It's a beautifully made bag. I just found it heavy and too wide at the base, but honestly, sometimes I miss looking at it on the shelf.
