Artsy and new canvas issues?

What I'm scared of is that I am a new LV convert and have bought a mono speedy, retiro noir and neverfull GM since May of this year. The rest were all made in USA but I'm now panicking at work and can't wait to go home to check them.

It seems to only be hobo types bags that are having the peeling issues. :thinkin:

I bought a totally mm, had it a short time, the corner had peeled so I exchanged. The second one I brought home and had the same thing. I ended up returning for store credit and ordered a mon mono NF. I am under the impression it's the soft squishy canvas. The Metis hobo I got in February is a soft squishy canvas, but had a little bit different of a feel to it. That has been used a lot and so far so good. It's really hard to say, but I do think it's the slouchy rubbery feeling canvas.

Personally, I would not purchase a canvas bag right now. I would wait for them to rectify the problem. Clearly this is a universal defect with the mono canvas line and it needs prompt adjustment.

I'm sure they would offer an exchange if it does happen, I have no doubt about that. But I wouldn't want to go through the hassle of perpetually checking over my bag and then having to bring it back if it starts to look like a hot mess. I'm not that desperate to buy a purse.

Sorry, I don't mean to sound negative. I'm just irritated. I bought the Mono Artsy a month ago and noticed peeling the day I got it. Needless to elaborate, it went straight back. Poor Linene, she's been through like 2 of them already. Or was it 3? Sorry, I lost count.

I hope you get a perfect one without any issues. On the bright side, you have vigilance working in your favor, so if anything does happen, I'm sure you will notice right away.
Do you think the Turenne PM would have this problem? it is more structured and in the higher price line? Comments?
