Artsy and new canvas issues?

I bought an preloved Artsy (made early this year) today. When buying the bag it looked perfect, but at home I noticed this peeling, allover the bag. And now I found this post and I'm freaking out. I contact the seller about it and she promised me to borrow the original receipt, cause I only have a copy. (She bought several things at the same time) Im hoping that I get a new one, but Im scared cause Im not the original buyer. And the bag was bought in march this year! :rain::confused1:
 
Brought my Sully in (with the peeling issues), and the SA looked at it, horrified. He said if he had another one, he would exchange it out, which he did. He didn't bring my failing bag to the back, nor did he request another opinion. I was relieved! My only disappointment is that I bought the cross body vachetta strap with my original Sully, and after only a month, it had patina'd so much, there is a definite difference from the cross body strap and the vachetta on my new, exchanged Sully. Maybe they will catch up together soon.

How is the new exchange holding up? Any new issues?

Hi there .. I'm sorry this is happening to you. It's been a widespread issue with the canvas lately . I brought in my speedy b, 11 mths after purchase because of the canvas cracking, I didn't show a receipt, but I'm a frequent customer there.. they took it to the back (I'm assuming to examine the bag) and the sa brought out an exchange for me right away. I hope they do the same for you,please keep us updated. *fingers crossed*

Yes they gave a new one! Posted a pic on instagram yesterday! I guess Im the first one who took the bag back, because it took a week for the repair SA to decide. He said that he tried to clean the bag with no results. But you can't clean the peeling you can make it larger.

Yeah, tomorrow Im calling my SA. Sad thing is that im so obsessed with the mono and I will take a new one untill I get one that don't peel. It's weird that they haven't done something allready. Maybe they are, but these bad ones just give a bad name to LV

I'm sorry this keeps happening .. the sad thing is that lv knows about this problem, and they could easily pull the stock that had the "canvas peeling issues" but they continue to sell them . I'm assuming they are hoping the customer won't notice 😕
 
I had to return my Sully purchased first week of July 2015 to the store yesterday for canvas peeling issue. I showed the SA the TPF thread based on the initial denial of issue. He immediately called quality and apologized for LV not making the SA aware of the canvas issue. I agree... They make enough money to pull the defective bags by date code from stores. I requested a Metis in place of another Sully.
 
It's not just the bags... this is my brand new emilie in monogram/rose ballerine.... just bought it and it's peeling/bubbling. what have lv done... major fail with this canvas coating?
