When did the canvas issues start with Artsy? I remember around the time I got mine there were cracking issues but now there's bubbling, too? Is this issue only on the newer ones?
I have no idea. I got my artsy jan 2013, no issues at all. I purchased a DE speedy b June 2014 started cracking last month and got a replacement. I think it's happening with just mono canvas bags but so far my neo NF is doing well(purchased jan2015)

I love the Artsy in DA! Can you believe how much the price has gone up since we bought it?! Crazy
It is so crazy! I SO regret not getting it when it first came out. It was under 1500 usd at the time! But at least I don't have to pay 2k for it! Yikes!
I know I agree! It's hard to justify paying that much for a bag that may or may not have issues. I really hope LV does something about the new canvas. Some owners haven't had issues and others.. not so lucky. It's a shame for such a beautiful bag!
Maybe try the Azur? I would be beside myself if I had issues back to back like that. All of you ladies who have dealt with peeling, bubbling, cracking, etc with the canvas are warriors, imo. Best wishes on your choice. I think you need a win this time.
That's the problem...I am happy right now! I wasn't wanting anything. Now I'm on the LV website and purseforum trying to decide. I'll have a $2000 credit and I COULD put up to $1200 with it. The problem...I really LOVE the monogram Artsy.
Well hopefully you can find one that doesn't have this headache! I know how you feel. I love my Artsy. On the bright side at least they are aware of the issue and will exchange it. On the dark side it's such a hassle to keep going through that.
What are they saying at LV about the issue? Are they correcting it? Is it only some or all of the newer ones? I'd call around to try to find an older model, surely someone has one!
