I saw artsy in empreinte earth but I Donno wthr it's worth the splurge as the logo was not deeply embossed and the ring had too many scratches wich had put me off from the purchase.

Well, I went into LV today. I walked out with another monogram Artsy. I love this bag so much. I'm going to give it one more try.

Does anyone have a NON-defective mono Artsy that was produced in 2015? Every time I try to give up on this bag, I see a woman carrying it and I fall in love all over again. Maybe I should just give it another go and try not to scrutinize it too much. I mean, does the peeling/bubbling ever develop into cracking? Does it really have any adverse effects on function... or would we say it's more of an aesthetic issue? I'm kind of tired of being vigilant and just want a freaking Artsy already! :girlsigh:

I know what you mean! I went into LV last weekend and exchanged for my 3rd Artsy. The last two had peeling. One at 6 months. The other just two and a half months. I looked at other purses and ever the Azur Artsy but the bag I love is the Mono Artsy. I had to give it one more try. The SA said the company knows there is a problem but they are not told what they have done or are doing to fix it. So, when I picked this Artsy, I chose the newest one in the store (by date code). My heart will be broken if this Artsy ends up peeling as well.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm sorry to hear that you're on #3 already. It's really a shame because Artsy is such a pretty bag. What is the date code on your new one? Hopefully it won't peel this time around. I hope she stays perfect for you. Definitely give us an update after you've used her for a bit.

The date code is SD2145. It was made week of June 8th, so fairly new. My SA told me several times to "use it. Don't just place it on a shelf because you are afraid it will peel." Well, I'm using it. So far, so good. I'll keep you updated.
