Yurman actually has quite a few outlets stores that are open year round all around the country. They have been open for several years now and are mostly in the high end outlet centers such as Woodbury Commons in NY.

I bought a new DY sterling/diamond ring for Christmas. It was $925 marked down to <$400! Lousy pic, but you get the gist.

I compared my ring to the same one in the showcase at Bloomingdales recently and was shocked at the discrepancy in workmanship.

The one in the showcase was thin and not comfortable to wear. My own ring slips on like butter and isn't noticeable once you're wearing it. The "new" ring dug into my hand because the cable details were thinner. I posted a thread about it awhile ago.

I had the same feeling when I tried the ring on in the store. It was so blaaaah.

Thank you for sharing your gorgeous DY pieces with us! I know you said you are kind of over the cable style, but I LOVE your diamond buckle bracelet and I think all of your bracelets look terrific on your wrist!

The DY outlet in Las Vegas is open year round but the prices are better at NM Last Call in Primm. NMLC has a no return policy on DY and Neiman Marcus handles the customer service for DY.com (which I thought was a bit weird -did they buy the company?)

oh and be careful on ebay. They are faking DY almost as much as Tiffany and some sellers are passing off pieces as Silver & 18kt when they are Silver and 18kt gold plate (as one poster noted earlier) or 14kt. Even if you are at Sak, DY or Neiman's look for the word imported (= made in China). I been eyeing the Cordelia bracelet but per Saks it's imported SS for almost $1k

I have several of the cable cuff bracelets and I haven't noticed a problem. Recently (two months?) I bought an 11mm prasiolite with diamonds and it seems fine. That said, they are getting to be more expensive than they're worth. Too bad I ADORE the style :(
