Anyone ever purchase at farfetch.com?

I am about to make my first purchase from Farfetch but I would just like to make sure of something before I click submit. I know that since most items are from European boutiques that I might have to pay a customs fee, my item is from a boutique in Italy. I added the pair of shoes to my cart and am currently on the payment page. It doesn't look like there is any extra fees because for my total it says: $572.50 USD(Import duties included)...so is it safe to say that is my absolute final total and there won't be any other fees coming up?

All fees are included in the price. I have ordered many things and never had a problem. Here is a tip, use a credit card that does not charge foreign transaction fees and go through ******. Enjoy!

what are in your opinion the most trustable shops/botiques in farfetch?
considering also packing and price?

I have been reading all the answers in this thread but still hearing more answers is always nice.

thank you very much.

Hello, ladies!
I hope you had a good beginning of the New Years!

Here is my question - I ordered Valentino Double Monk Platforms on sale on farfetch.com from a boutique Stefania Mode in Italy. The shipping was fast, everything went smooth, I got my shoes on 30th of december. I've worn them only once so far, and here is the problem.. On both shoes, the inside part of the shoe is starting to come off the sole (sorry for my english - not sure how to explain it, I attached a picture). If I wear them 2-3 more times, I am sure it's just going to rip off, it's even worse than on the picture, I did not want to push it too hard.
Did you ever have issues like that (you bought an item from farfetch - worn in once - it broke or anything similar like that)? Can you return an item and get a refund? I already contacted farfetch via email, but they are probably going to answer me only Monday the earliest, because of the holidays, and I would like to know what to expect from them, since I've heard bad stuff about their customer service..

I'm new to Farfetch, and only received my first order a few days ago, from mantovani boutique in valdarno italy, and I'm super pleased, good packaging, and they sent me this cute postcard of St Giovanni, will def buy again from that boutique,

This is my 2nd order from Farfetch. I placed the order Sunday night (my time zone in South East Asia) and received it this Wednesday, just a few hours ago. This was from Reija Boutique in Spain. I'm impressed! The bag was packaged well too!

My first purchase from Parissi boutique in Italy was likewise a very nice experience.

I bought a Givenchy Pandora from Farfetch (but actually from a store in Italy called Tessabit). Description at Farfetch said "gold toned" hardware but the bag I recieved had silver hardware. The bag also had some minor scratches and some dirt on it (which was easy to remove).

I haven't contacted customer service about this since I don't think it is worth my time and energy. I think the bag looks nice in silver as well. Just want to warn that description may not be correct when you buy an item.

Also I paid extra for express delivery, but it took almost 4 days to arrive (DHL shipping took only ca 18h) - the store needed 2,5 days only for packing which I think is quite a lot if you compare to other online sites where they send the item the same day or first thing next morning.

Hi, I wanted to know if you ever got this resolved.

Hi ladies - there is an ongoing sale (ends tomorrow) if you use the code x30feb, you can get an additional 30% off sale items. They have some good things popping up. Just FYI.

I was a little disappointed with my last purchase from Farfetch, Valentino bag. There were some light scratches on the hardware and a small scratch on the leather itself, but I also agree with you that is would be too much time and effort in returning so I just kept it. I had read on tpf how other ladies waited a real long time for a refund. So just figured I would just keep my bag and not deal with the hassle. But my 3 other purchases (2 pairs of shoes, purchased at 2 different times and another bag) went well.

Sorry to hear; I purchased a Mcqueen manta clutch from Biffi boutiques in Italy, and there was a scratch/stain in the satin. After contacting customer service and showing them pictures of the defect I took, a DHL return label was emailed to me. All I had to do was schedule a pick-up with the shipping company, and the whole process was really easy; when the item showed as delivered back to the store, my money was refunded within a few days.

Have to say though, the Mcqueen Legend shopper tote I received this time from the same store was in perfect condition. They also packages really well, so it's more a luck of the draw for the shape of the item you get. Also placed an order with other shops for some tees and two pairs of flats, and those went well too. In general, my experiences have been rather positive with Farfetch; with the coupons they send out for extra percentage off sale items, I'd say it's worth it.
