Anyone ever purchase at farfetch.com?

I've always had good experience with Farfetch. However, my parcels from Romania (sunglasses) did get delayed for 3 weeks (!), because DHL wouldn't release the parcels unless manufacturer's name and address are provided. I think Farfetch provides great service, like searching for items for me, dealing with individual boutiques, etc.

I just ordered a Chloe bag from this site. It was lower in price (approximately $300.00 less) and the shipping was $24.00 for customs. I ordered it last Wednesday and it is being delivered today. If I have any issues I will post them once I receive the item.

Happy Shopping!

I've shopped at Farfetch before and no complaints with my purchase.
I bought a pair of Rockstuds and Kenzo sweater.
One thing that still puzzles me is the price difference, I have been checking the prices on a regular basis for the same item, and the price varied from week to week.. and I do wonder why.. can anyone share their views on this?

In terms of price, I think it is still cheaper to buy in Europe, but considering I live in Australia, I'd have to resort to online shopping for my cravings :D:D

Hi everyone, I am looking to buy a PS1 from this boutique called Satu, has anyone have any problems buying from them, I'm just a little nervous because it's a lot of money and will ship to the U.S. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you.

First time ordering from Farfetch. Not happy with the experience at all.

Purchased from a boutique called AL OSTOURA and the bag appears to be ex display - there's no bag stuffing (as a result the bag is a bit misshapen), none of the protective stickers were present, the shoulder strap clearly looks used, bag smells odd (must have picked up whatever scent the store had) and there's a mark on one of the handles.

It's going straight back :nono:

Oooh Al Ostoura is some messy shop in Kuwait! Doesn't surprise me much but quite sad that with that huge operation they don't have dedicated staff to deal with their farfetch orders!
Did you have to pay duties?
So sorry hope FF comes up with a clever solution!

I don't have the best experience either. If you buy from several boutiques you pay shipping for each item.

I paid €66 for express for three items. They took almost a week to arrive.

They have lied about sizes etc when I bought a pair of boots on sale. Long story but what finally happened after back and forth, they said I needed half a size down in saint Laurent which was the brand I bought and I told them I already knew that and had ordered accordingly......the boots had sold out.

Not very pleased in general but I have had good buys there too.

Have you also purchased from this store? I'm really annoyed that they would send an ex display bag without marking it as such on the website. Have contacted Farfetch with photos, currently waiting for a reply.

The price already included duties/taxes so I didn't have to pay extra.

After my experience I don't think I'll be buying from Farfetch again. As everything comes from boutiques, there's no guarantee that one won't receive ex display items. The packing staff don't seem that professional either; I've just realised that the (dirty) dustbag of the bag I bought, looks like it's for a different style  because it's too small and I have to squish the bag in order to get it to fit. No wonder it came misshapen!

I actually have seen it in real life. Travelled that region last year and was not impressed with most shops. They don't have much of a clue about fashion, just loads of money. Everything is merchandised in a mess.
Only their mono brand shops have some kinda regularity.
Not sure what brand you bought but as long as you let farfetch know..

Sorry you had a bad experience. It's so frustrating when you put time and money into something and you receive a faulty item.

I think my first purchase from them was a mary katrantzou sweater in cotton/silk and not very cheap. I took off the security tag before trying it on since I didn't want to risk damaging the sensitive material, I knew it would fit, and later I discovered a big hole in it. It was when I was folding it that I saw the hole.

I got my money back but it was a hassle.

I ordered from Farfetch for the first time earlier in the week. What happens when DHL delivers the package and you are not home? I work full time so I doubt I'll be home when the item is delivered.

DHL will leave a " Sorry we missed you card". You can then call customer care to retry delivery on another day or collect from depot or redirect to a business address .

Which ever works for you :-)

Good luck :-)

Thanks ladies :hbeat: I contacted Farfetch and was told I'd get a full refund once I've returned it. They've booked a collection for Monday. Customer service doesn't seem as bad as I'd read, phew! Fingers crossed it gets sorted ASAP.
