Hey everyone! :smile1: I'm debating on getting the gianvito rossi pvc pumps from the Biondini boutique in Paris, but am nervous about how strict they (and farfetch) are on the return policy. Apparently they don't take the item back if they don't receive the item within 14 days of you first receiving it. Would shipping from LA in the US make it to Paris within 14 days? Any experiences with returns at the Biondini boutique in Paris, anyone? Thanks!

Hi a little while ago I purchased some ysl tribtoos from biondini via farfetch. I was more than happy with the whole process from start to finish. The shoes only took a couple days to arrive (although I do live in England). The shoes were packaged beautifully and even contained a little hand written note from the biondini staff. I have also visited the actual Biondini store on the champs elysees in Paris and had a great experience with friendly and attentive staff. Hope that helps :)

Hey HeelAddict, thanks for your input! :smile1: Did anyone have any issues with returns at Biondini?

It appears some people like farfetch and others don't. They have a givenchy bag that I am interested in purchasing that is significantly less expensive then here in the US. Any advise or thoughts? Has anyone purchased a givenchy bag from them?

Thanks so much!
Last year I bought my Givenchy Antigona via Farfetch with no problems. (It was a green croc stamp, I feel so lucky to have found it.) It's a legit site.

I'm sure you know this already, but FYI just in case:

- Farfetch is not the end vendor. They are an intermediary for small individual boutiques, so the customer service you receive will depend on that specific boutique even though Farfetch will also help if there are any issues.

- If you're buying from Europe and you live in the US, make sure you understand what your import tax position is - whether there will be any tax/duties charged at the border, and who is liable for it. More often than not you would have to pay the tax, although certain large vendors may cover it. It may be that the bargain bag will no longer be a bargain once you add tax, which can be quite substantial. If in doubt, best to ask Farfetch.

can i please ask some newbie questions regarding Far Fetch?

I hope to one day shop from them but was wondering do i have to do any research regarding the boutiques on there for authenticity, customer service or shipping to my country? For instance, if i'm interested in a pair of shoes that appears in several different boutiques, do i just pick the ones that have my size and the better price? The shoe brands i'm interested in are Saint Laurent, Lanvin and Valentino. Just feeling a little overwhelmed as i usually shop from NAP most of the time..... many thanks

Hi there,

I hope anyone could help me here. I bought a Valentino Rockstud pump shoes from FARFETCH through one of their boutique : BIONDINI paris. What surprising me was it didnt come with dustbag and NO AUTHENTICITY CARD. The shoes was wrapped with plastic bag. I'm afraid that the SHOES is fake. Anyone ever run into the same situation like me? Try to email them and the boutique itself no reply so far :(. It was quite upsetting when they didn't have a good customer service.

BEWARE OF SHOPPING AT BIONDINI-PARIS @ farfetch !!

Please advise!

Just adding my two cents:
I've shopped from farfetch a few times with zero problems! I think it is pretty fun seeing the different packaging of individual boutiques...the ones I've bought from have been so cute - I've been sent scented parcels and fashion magazines with my items 😊

I've also found returns very very easy!

Far fetch offers shopping from around the world. I have purchased from them a couple of times and each time was a disaster. The first time, my shoes were delivered by UPS and the delivery guy reamed me out for not being home on his previous two tries. Granted this was no farfetch's problem I tried them again. I bought sone $1100 boots. They were ok but I was not sure if they were a bit snug so I ordered the next size up also. By the time they arrived, we had an emergency and flew to a funeral. When I hit back and tried them on, they were way too big. I wanted to return them to far fetch but they said I was over the 5 days they give to return items internationally!!! Five days?!!!!!! I tried to explain my situation and they absolutely refused to help. They showed no compassion, they completely refused any customer service at all. Eventually my husband called so done in the executive department and was told so done would call him back. No one did. It has been months of us calling, leaving messages and emails and we get nothing from them . We were even ready to accept a credit note. I can't believe this company is so heartless and did not even have the courtesy to respond to emails and phone calls. You would think that the executives want to set an example and show what is good customer service and at least look into the matter. So now I have two pairs of $1100 fendi boots, one which is totally useless to me. I guess far fetch thinks my uncle shouldn't have died at the time he did and this is all his fault. Will never buy from them again!

Double check all the particulars because I've noticed sometimes they'll have a title and the wrong item pictured or the measurements will be of a different size than listed etc. If you're talking about the drop down menu then yeah, probably just choose the one with the best price.

I wouldn't recommend VITKAC in Poland, though, because I had a really bad experience with them (detailed earlier in this thread).

Hey there everyone!
I found this thread really helpful and I really appreciate reading about your experiences!! So.. I thought it was a good idea to contribute!

I'm hoping so bad that my experience is going to be positive!

Anyways, I've been loving the Givenchy Small Antigona (Silver HW/goatskin) but it's incredibly hard to get ahold of here. I called every shop and checked online and the small size seems very popular this year since it's sold out everywhere. I live in The Netherlands (Europe) by the way.

I stumbled on Farfetch last night and found the bag I was looking for there;; and this afternoon I decided to order it from there.

The boutique that it's coming from is called "Babylon Bus" and it's located in Italy. Babylon Bus has their own site but if you check their FAQ you can see it's powered by Farfetch as well, so I decided to just buy it from Farfetch and not their online website babylonbusonline.com.

I also checked Google Maps street view out of curiosity, but I could not see the store on their address... however, the Google street view image was taken in june 2012 so it could be, that the store wasn't there at the time.
Does anyone have any experience from Babylon Bus? I saw earlier this thread in may 2012 someone ordered a Givenchy Pandora from there and didn't have any problems.

So far not much has happened- I placed my order and also ticked the box for Express shipping (by DHL) which costs a little more, but I'd like to receive my parcel asap.
I payed with Paypal and was not asked for extra information.
At first Paypal stated that the payment was "on hold" and my status on the Farfetch website was that they were "authorising the payment".
The status changed after about an hour. The status is now "Preparing for shipping".
It also took a few minutes to get my confirmation email though so don't panic if you don't get it straight away!

Also, yesterday I filled in their inquiry form to ask if they could confirm if the bag in question was indeed the small size and not the medium or mini since the sizing differed a bit from my source.
(my source : 15cmx28x22
their measurements: 13x28x28 )
And they got back to me this morning at around 10 AM and told me they would contact the boutique to ask. After an hour they sent another reply by email where they indeed confirmed the listing was for the small size.

I also tried the "chat online" option they offer on the farfetch website multiple times, but when I try to use it, it states there is no adviser at the moment. I find this a bit annoying, since I don't like being offered an option that doesn't work.

It also took a while for the bag to be marked as "sold" on the farfetch website.
I bookmarked the page and rechecked just now, and saw the page is up again and the bag is in stock again.
They use the same page and photos and are now offering 2 of the same bag from one from Viktac and one from Papini.

I know Viktac has a lot of negative reviews - so defenitly ignore that if you're looking into the same bag!
This is the page: http://www.farfetch.com/nl/shopping...10485802.aspx?storeid=9544&sz=17&ffref=lp_21_

I hope my bag comes as new - since I noticed that on the pictures, the bag has a mark on the bottom right and a scratch on the last picture where the Givenchy logo is located.
Please tell me what you think about this!

Anyways, I hope someone finds my analyse helpful and I will definitely keep you guys updated!
I'm very sceptical and hesitant, but I just want to give Farfetch a fair try.
