Hi authenticplease! I'm in the US too and just ordered a couple of scarves from Farfetch/Biondini. When I checked out it said that all customs and duties are included in the price I paid, but I'm still nervous that I might get a bill from DHL once they deliver. Have you ever been billed for any excess charges past what you paid at checkout? Thanks :smile1:

When you order, if the item says duties and taxes are included then there won't be any extra charges billed......Farfetch really has streamlined the process and made it hassle free:tup:

Unfortunately I had several times bad experience with Farfetch.

It happens to almost 50% of my orders that after successfully placing the order and finishing the payment I will receive the following mail "Your item is no longer available... We are really sorry to have to tell you that we've been informed by our partner boutique <xyz> that the item(s) you have ordered below is unfortunately out of stock"

The Out-of-Stock notification does not come immediately but sometimes next day, sometimes three days later.. Sorry, but that sucks..

Nothing is more disappointing that expecting some new items and then being told it won't happen. Money is refunded within 5 days usually.

It didn't happen a single time, it keeps happening again and again.

So Farfetch from my view ist NOT REALLY RECOMMENDED

Love far fetch so far, I narrowly missed the free shipping last week, but the express shipping was remarkable. I ordered a mini monogramme YSL bag and it came within 5 days of my order!
The boutique was Stefania Mode from Italy. I'm only cheesed off with the packaging--it was placed in a big box, with like, 2 pieces of white wrapping tissue which wasn't even crumpled to properly cushion the bag and there was no bubble wrap--that left a lot of space for the bag to be bumped around during shipping--sure enough the delivery box came with a dent. The drawstring bag in which my new baby was placed in wasn't even drawn!! Thankfully the bag is a little toughie, it's not the sort of calf skin which gets scratched easily. BTW the chain handles were not wrapped in tissue either. I think paying premium prices should at least get me some decent wrapping, geez.
Certainly no 'personal touch' from Stefania mode. I would continue ordering from Farfetch though, just not delicate items. I also love the free pick ups which allows for easy returns.

I keep ordering from farfetch and love it! What I don't like is the actual farfetch box (outer box) as it's so flimsy. And because of that I expect whatever I buy to be wrapped properly! Also I just love receiving nicely wrapped packages with personal notes...

Hey, i ordered Isabel Marant shoes from farfetch, I don't know why but they want me to send them a copy of my ID and credit card, but I called my bank and they told me the money were charged and everything is fine and I should not send these documents. Did anybody have similar situation? What have you done?

Its only good if you have no problem wirh your items - once you have a problem its very bad.... Bought some boots and soles started to come off within 2 month .... Boutique says its normal.... Price was more than 500 Euro..... Its so bad -

Im about to order some Brioni Poloshirts from farfetch, and yeah im not rly sure about it. I often read extremly negativ critics about this website. A bad Customer Service, extremly long refunding times, bad quality of their products and so on. It would be realy nice if someone could give me an good advice, because this Thread is also not helping :D. Its like half of the people love it and te over half hate it. ^^

It appears some people like farfetch and others don't. They have a givenchy bag that I am interested in purchasing that is significantly less expensive then here in the US. Any advise or thoughts? Has anyone purchased a givenchy bag from them?

Thanks so much!
