Oh, and one more thing I want to share. They said Eel skin is more durable and stronger than Cowhide or Calfskin. It's hard to believe because it felt just like lambskin! Soft as butta!:cloud9:
That sounds beautiful!
I could not resist the Bellevue...it reminds me of the Hermes Garden Party, although more expensive ($4,000) but I don't have to worry about it becoming triangular in shape. It also keeps me well-organized, it is not heavy and the leather is top quality. Extremely happy!:smile1:

Bump!! I visited the boutique the other day and am in absolute  I think I've found my new obsession! Their silk and cashmere blend scarves are TDF, their vicuna and baby cashmere stoles floored me, and their bags! Forget CC, forget H, LP bags are amazing!

I would love to see more pics and any more thoughts/experiences with LP bags! :smile1:

I'm buying a Dee 3 in black and thought some of you might like to see some piccies.

I'm a wee bit puzzled as to why there aren't more posts about LP on the forum. LP is unquestionably expensive, although their bags aren't that bad in comparison to some for the quality and timeless design.

The website is great, but be warned it makes it too easy to spend hideous amounts of money...

I think it's b/c it's very low keyed and not carried much by celebrities or women in general. So if you don't see it often, you may not recognize it.

Congratulations! All of those zippered compartments would make me feel ok about carrying a bag without a zip closure. Plus, it would help me stay organized. Very lovely indeed. Enjoy!

I believe that is the sole reason they are not discussed here. Their bags are in the $3k range! That is a fortune for a bag. IMO the quality of the bags are like nothing I've seen in years! I fell in love with one that was only lined by the underside of the leather, meaning, no lining. It felt like lambskin and was gorgeous!! I am disappointed too that I never see anyone buying or wearing their handbags. Even my very affluent friends shop the stores for their cashmere sweaters and scarves and wear very very reasonably priced bags.

I am also fairly recently in love with LP - most especially their outerwear, but also their pants, which really fit me perfectly. AND, I MUST add, possibly the very best customer service ever! Whenever I visit, I am greeted so warmly and am made to feel completely at ease and welcome. So very helpful, the way it should be. We really do need a Loro Piana section here on TPF!

I have to agree that their customer service is amazing. I think in comparison to the cost of their cashmere the bags are a steal! I bought 3 jumpers and am now treating them like bambinis. These babies just have to go the distance! When my hubby saw the delivery box he said 'that's not that shop on Sloane Street is it?'. When I answered in the affirmative he just blanched. Alas, I am ashamed to say I fibbed and said they were on sale...

I, myself, am just getting acquainted with LP.

Any help on the bags would be appreciated. I don't have a store near me so I would have to have my purchase shipped from New York.
