And it just left me thinking "Just who is this supposed to attract?"
2 super skinny, undressed androgynous and etheral people of questionable age that look so frail and seem like they'll fall apart if you touch them... It's a complete departure from what the Céline woman was, and also a return to some of the worst aspects of the fashion industry.

And let me be clear, I'm not trying to shame anyone here. Saint Laurent's messy, after-after party ads were sort of cool in a carefree young way, and American Apparel did far racier things in it's time, but these new ads are just... Weird. And not like real people at all.

Im invited to a breakfast at the Celine boutique in Stockholm on Monday morning. Then they will present the Hedi collection for the first time there, only Phoebe design in that store for now. Will be interesting to see it and touch it...

How exiting! Do you know for how long they will still carry the Phoebe pieces?

Went to that release breakfast the other day. Im not impressed by the new bags at all.
Im officially a Phoebe lover. I felt more interested in classics like Luggage, Classic etc, other sizes/colors of belt.

Classic and Triomphe, i like the strap better and size of the medium classic, and the colors are better on the Classic. But i like the passpoal and that the seams are inside the bag for the Triomphe, when the classic has the seams on the outside (the body of the bag).
everything else looks to cheap for me, dont like the quilted bags. I have no interest at all in the new bags... but a lot of people where buying things, dont know if it was new or old bags.

Got to see and touch the new bags and re-releases of some of Phoebe Philo's bag designs in Paris a few days ago, and both the new bags and the "new old" bags look and feel very cheap - much cheaper than Celine under Phoebe Philo. They had a few pieces still left from the Phoebe Philo-era and the difference in feel and look is very noticeable.

Wow, I didn’t realize there’s a difference in quality between PP’s era bags and PP’s designed bags released under Hedi!! That’s horrible!
