I am pursed out with all my bags specially Balenciagas since it was my most loved bag.

I am going to take a long rest from them....after decades of buying and selling...my interest suddenly went

My interest in not a brand but a particular bag is waning. The Damier Ebene Speedy 30 was on my wishlist but since reading about so many problems with the handles peeling, I suddenly cannot see my self paying upwards of $600 for one. $300 for a bag that is likley to have problems is still way too much in my honest opinion. I do love my Damier Azur Speedy though!

RM. I have a few of their older styles that I still really like, but I wouldn't buy anything from the new lines. Too many quality problems and the styles aren't catching my eye anymore.
Agreed. I love some of my "older" (what's it been 3-4 years or something?) RM bags but geezlouise...the spring line for 2010 especially--wtf? Bright red leopard print with blue trim????!! And the huge croc (totally fake looking, imho) prints this fall?? Yikes! Not for me so much.

I'm not feeling RM's spring line -- or Hayden-Harnett's, for that matter -- either, though that doesn't mean I like the ones I already have any less. (I've actually been carrying my black RM MAM every day for a couple of months because I'm too lazy to change bags!) I'm just not in the market for anything new from either.

^^ Same for me also. I have accumulated enough bags in a variety of styles and colors to satisfy me for a looong time.

I 100% agree with this. I went crazy last year with all of the fire sales and accumulated a gorgeous rainbow of bags in a nice variety of styles. This year I bought ONE bag (a week ago), and I'd been thinking about it for a year before I finally purchased it (black/GGH Balenciaga City). There are only two others on my radar, both of which I've been considering for a long time (black LV Epi Alma and a Chanel 2.55 reissue -- still undecided as to size and color/hardware combination). I'm pretty content with my collection. Shoes, on the other hand...

...what about Caterina Lucchi?

I swear I'm losing my mind. I read this quickly and thought it said "cafeteria lunch."

Mulberry. I fell in love 2 years ago because of their down-to-earth designs, classic style and hard wearing quality. You'd just go there and buy a real bag, something to last, without the 'it-bag' status - you'd just pick a basic colour and really use (and even abuse) it and it wouldn't affect the quality, only making it broken into and giving it that lovely vintage look. How very British. Yesterday I popped over to te Amsterdam boutique to see what they had only to find shelves filled with loud screaming colours in 'hip' and 'funky' bright patent leathers and metallic calf hair. And the fact that their bags are no longer exclusively made in England (rather in Turkey, Spain and - horror - China) has really put me off the brand. A small pouch I bought during the summer even smelled of plastic and had a made in China tag in it...What a shame, what a waste of heritage...

I'm out of love with RM too. Great colours, but too many quality problems with both the hardware and the various leathers. I tried to love the Nikki / mini-Nikki but - to me they're an odd shape, and an acquired taste.

So I've started looking at Balenciaga too. Got a Maldives City that's just so, so so much better looking than the Mint Nikki it replaced. Chunkylover53, I don't know how you get 2 RMs - 1 Balenciaga, though... RM's at least go on special, mine are like 5 RMs = 1 Balenciaga....

I have several Belen Echandias with 3 more still to come but I think that if I buy anymore, I will limit myself to the Hold Me, Adore Me and the Take Me Anywhere. Resale is rubbish but I don't buy to resell so that doesn't worry me too much. I have one or two styles that probably aren't perfect for me but I'll give those away before I sell them. I agree that there isn't anything really fresh, I'm not crazy about the Enchant Me or the Rock Me. Fortunately, I can get what I want through BEC.

I recently dipped my toe into Hayden Harnett, I love the Havana but I bought it on Bonanzle as I'm not prepared to put up with their rubbish customer service. The HH forum was an eye opener - I can't believe so many people still buy from them with all their problems.

I like the look of some RMs but the shipping and customs just puts me off.

I guess it's RM for me.A couple of years ago,I was obsessed with her bags-now I've sold all but my original MAB and my beautiful wine Matinee.I really don't foresee myself buying anymore RM's-the new bags just don't excite me.:shrugs:

the moment i became a member of tPF, i was enamored by RM (Rebecca Minkoff) bags. i had a Morning After Mini (MAM), Mini Nikki, 2 Roadies, a Morning After Clutch (MAC)...but I have sold all except the MAM cuz that was my very first baby :p

now, like some of u ladies have stated, her designs just don't excite me like the use to. but i think its the linings she chooses for her bags that make me

i now have switched over to Balenciaga :smile1: and i really like some of Prada designs, Miu Miu and Marc Jacobs...but for now...its all about Balenciaga

I could not agree more....
I don't like any of the new styles at all...
I am starting to stray....

Want to diversify a bit...

I would have to say LV. For me, it's lost it's exclusivity & 'uniqueness'. It used to be that I could walk down the street and see only a few here and there. Now it seems like any old person can buy them. Not to mention, there are far too many fakes out there. I'll stick to my new(er) obsession, Hermes.
